Responsibilities- Prepare month-end closing and group consolidation on a timely basis
- Assist in the Accounting System (NetSuite) implementation
- Prepare audit schedules and perform financial analysis as required
- Liaise with auditors addressing any audit-related matters
- Provide support for daily financial functions within the team
- Assist in testing and implementation of finance digital transformation solutions
- Coordinate with the internal and external parties on accounting-related matter
- Assist in ad hoc tasks as assigned by the team or management
- Bachelor degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent
- 1 to 2 years of professional work experience in Finance or Accounting ; Audit experience a plus; Fresh Graduate will be considered too
- Strong interpersonal skills, good team player, detail-minded, self-motivated and able to multi-task
- The habit of paying painstaking attention to details, correct data and following procedures meticulously
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Proficient in Word and Excel (V-lookup and Pivot Table)
- Prior experience in digital assets a plus
- Prior experience in Oracle Netsuite is a plus
- Commercial experience preferred

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle full set of accounts and prepare monthly management reports and regular financial reports in accordance with corporate and statutory requirements
- Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounting activities;
- Responsible for accounting and audit schedules;
- Communicate with internal and external parties (including auditor);
- Work closely with HK and PRC finance teams;

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
· Record day-to-day financial transactions including purchases, receipts, sales, and payments.
· Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and ensure entries are correctly coded.
· Process accounts payable and receivable requests, including releasing invoice purchases, chasing client receivables and processing supplier payments.
· Process and manage inventory receipts, transfers and or imports
· Perform bank, credit card, and other account reconciliations on a regular basis.
· Maintain and reconcile petty cash and staff expense claims.
· Assist in preparing and lodge monthly and quarterly operating e.g. BAS, VAT, Sales Tax
· Maintain organised financial records and filing systems (physical and digital).
· Support external accountants or auditors with end-of-year processes and reporting.
· Maintain the integrity of financial data with live, real-time booking of transactions.
· Identify fixed and variable cost saving measures
· Contributing to the timely completion of end of month processes of all six entities
· Closing accounts for all six IHS Group entities
· Produce standard reports and statistical information for use by senior colleagues.
Requirements
- Degree / Higher Diploma in Accountancy, Finance or related disciplines
- At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in accounting field
- Proficiency in Excel. MYOB Advanced is a must.
- A Must in Good command of spoken & written English
