Our Group Company - RATP Dev has experienced strong growth in APAC over the past years, and we are looking for a fit talent to cope with the business growth.

Within RATP Dev APAC team, the Business Analyst will work on international bids in often complex contractual environments (PPP, partnerships, etc.) to ensure the robustness and quality of the financial offer. They will also be involved in cross-functional projects for continuous improvement of bid responses (tools, methods, AI, etc.).

Work Location:

  • Position based in Hong Kong (HK Tramways); occasional travel in the area (Philippines, Singapore).

Responsibilities:

  • Constructing the financial model: coordinating various contributors (Technical, Marketing, IT/Digital, HR, Finance streams), aligning and challenging the model's input assumptions, analyzing results, and producing financial summaries and deliverables.

Scope

The Corporate Finance China team is looking to add a Financial Analyst in Hong Kong.

  • Prepare, analyze and help explain historical and projected financial information

  • Prior internship / full-time experience in M&A advisory and/or related fields

  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  • Strong analytical abilities and knowledge of accounting and applied financial theory
  • An excellent understanding of financial valuation theory, methodologies, and applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin required
  • Skilled in MS Office suite and financial databases (e.g. Capital IQ, Mergermarket)

Key Responsibilities

In Finance Systems consulting, we support client’s overall strategy, design, implementation and process improvement of

the Oracle Fusion platform and associated systems, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function and generate real insights to help deliver value to the business. As digital disruption affects more industry sectors, Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) find it increasingly challenging to deliver sustainable growth in profits and dividends, whilst managing costs. Join this team and we can ensure you’re equipped to support and advise clients in this constantly changing world. Armed with these skills and supporting you to continue developing your expertise, you’ll help our Finance Systems team in these areas:

  • Oracle implementations – leading the development team during implementation and post implementation in areas of business process, security and data
  • Client delivery – supporting the client through Oracle
  • Fusion technical design, configuration and testing during implementation and enable them to optimise their processes and maximise the benefits of the selected system
  • Leveraging KPMG’s proven frameworks and methodologies to develop a company’s finance systems strategy and process improvement, including what good looks like for each of the key finance technologies and processes
  • Developing technical design documents, application development and build custom reports in Oracle Fusion and cloud-based technology solutions.
  • Building integrations using Oracle OCI and other tools to upstream and downstream systems from Oracle Fusion applications
  • Working with Module functional consultants in data migration, testing and wider module configurations to target stage design.
  • Demonstrating use of Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM
  • Implementing process enhancement through digital and robotic technologies


Experience & Background

  • Experience working in a Big 4 professional firm or a large corporation
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle Fusion, finance systems, emerging technologies and digital solutions
  • Overall 8+ years of related work experience in working on Oracle, Essbase, Hyperion, Peoplesoft and other Oracle technologies
  • 5 years of industry experience as a technical consultant in Oracle ERP solutions with 3 + years in Oracle Fusion cloud applications – GL, AP, AR, FA and / or CM modules
  • Have done 2+ full cycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS Applications implementation in the role of a technical lead and / or technical consultant.
  • Previous experience as lead and developer during Oracle Fusion implementations, working across
  • Strong people manager, able to lead a team of technical consultants onshore and offshore
  • Self-starting, pro-active team player that is experienced in working in challenging environments and within a multi-disciplined team
  • Ability to liaise with senior Finance and IT stakeholders
  • Ability to create and deliver high level presentations and output reviews to senior executives/stakeholders and business managers
  • Ability to review and challenge information that has been provided by other team members, ensuring the information is ‘fit for purpose’ and at the right level of granularity
  • Ability to perform structured analysis on business models to provide best practice knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Key Responsibilities
In Finance Systems consulting, we support client’s overall strategy, design, implementation and process improvement of
the Oracle Fusion platform and associated systems, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the finance function and generate real insights to help deliver value to the business. As digital disruption affects more industry sectors, Chief Financial Officers (CFOs) find it increasingly challenging to deliver sustainable growth in profits and dividends, whilst managing costs. Armed with these skills and supporting you to continue developing your expertise, you’ll help our Finance Systems team in these areas:
  • Oracle implementations – leading the development team during implementation and post implementation in areas of business process, security and data
  • Client delivery – supporting the client through Oracle
  • Fusion technical design, configuration and testing during implementation and enable them to optimise their processes and maximise the benefits of the selected system
  • Leveraging KPMG’s proven frameworks and methodologies to develop a company’s finance systems strategy and process improvement, including what good looks like for each of the key finance technologies and processes
  • Developing technical design documents, application development and build custom reports in Oracle Fusion and cloud-based technology solutions.
  • Building integrations using Oracle OCI and other tools to upstream and downstream systems from Oracle Fusion applications
  • Working with Module functional consultants in data migration, testing and wider module configurations to target stage design.
  • Demonstrating use of Oracle methodologies such as OUM or AIM
  • Implementing process enhancement through digital and robotic technologies
Experience & Background
  • Experience working in a Big 4 professional firm or a large corporation
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle Fusion, finance systems, emerging technologies and digital solutions
  • Overall 8+ years of related work experience in working on Oracle, Essbase, Hyperion, Peoplesoft and other Oracle technologies
  • 5 years of industry experience as a technical consultant in Oracle ERP solutions with 3 + years in Oracle Fusion cloud applications – GL, AP, AR, FA and / or CM modules
  • Have done 2+ full cycle implementations of Oracle Fusion Cloud and Oracle EBS Applications implementation in the role of a technical lead and / or technical consultant.
  • Previous experience as lead and developer during Oracle Fusion implementations, working across
  • Strong people manager, able to lead a team of technical consultants onshore and offshore
  • Self-starting, pro-active team player that is experienced in working in challenging environments and within a multi-disciplined team
  • Ability to liaise with senior Finance and IT stakeholders
  • Ability to create and deliver high level presentations and output reviews to senior executives/stakeholders and business managers
  • Ability to review and challenge information that has been provided by other team members, ensuring the information is ‘fit for purpose’ and at the right level of granularity
  • Ability to perform structured analysis on business models to provide best practice knowledge
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Cantonese speaking candidates are preferred

  • Liaise closely with Beijing Finance Team regarding any issues encountered

CITIC Pack reporting -

  • Complete CITIC Pack notes for the accounts allocated by management by agreed timeline
  • Diagnose abnormalities on data collected and on timely advise management on the potential issues identified

Respond to audit queries in regard to reported notes the in a timely and accurate manner

Accounting Policy Maintenance -

  • Keep updated with finance policies from CITIC Group and Ministry of Finance
  • Assist to complete finance policy development as required by supervisor in expected time frame and quality

Balance Sheet Substantiation -

  • Timely deliver the balance sheet substantiation requirement to corresponding finance team, follow up outstanding matters
  • Assist finance team to tackle related question. Report to management on key finding as per project timeline

Support finance team ad-hoc project and reporting as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting field
  • Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, preferably within the Financial Services industry
  • Good command of both written and spoken Mandarin and English
  • Understanding of investment banks' business, specifically the understanding of Chinese investment banks is preferred
  • Good knowledge of IFRS
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (e.g. Pivot table/Macro)
  • Knowledge of accounting system, SAP is preferred
  • Audit experience/background is preferred but not essential;
  • Quick learner and team player
  • Proactive and independent.

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Champion HKBU Finance excellence strategy and implementation plan aligned with Takeda China business strategy
  • Provide strategic financial decision support, insights and recommendations to HKBU LT on critical business cases to seize new business opportunities (e.g. Great Bay Area)
  • Lead annual financial planning cycle (MRP, MYC, LBE, LRF) to drive HKBU revenue and profit growth objective
  • Review profit and risk reports on a regular basis and release financial early warning information to management in a timely manner with mitigation plans
  • Lead and coordinate HKBU monthly DSOP process, work with distributors on billing, shipment, pricing, FOC, goods return, cash collection and inventory management
  • Enhance operational effectiveness and ROI enabled by business innovation and DD&T
  • Liaise with E&C to early detect potential compliance issues with mitigation recommendations
  • Coach and develop team members with quality conversations and career planning

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor degree or above majored in accounting or finance
  • 10+ years’ work experiences in FP&A, Accounting & Controlling, or other relevant finance areas
  • Familiar with finance & accounting laws and regulations and taxation policies and implementation rules
  • Fluent in English both oral and written
  • Result oriented and willingness to take initiatives to challenge the status-quo and optimize
  • Strong analytical skills to drive a wide range of analysis, both independently and with team work
  • Intellectual capacity to drive solutions within the constraints of complex business environment and processes
  • Ability to navigate through cross-team dynamics and drive influences and impacts via efficient communication channels
  • Demonstrates strategic enterprise thinking, finding innovative ways to serve patients, and build trust, reputation and business
