1. Financial Management and Strategic Planning

Formulate the company's financial strategy, budget, and capital operation plans in

alignment with the overall corporate strategy. Prepare annual budgets, quarterly

forecasts, and financial analysis reports to support senior management decisionmaking.

Manage the company's capital structure, funding costs, and investment

returns.

2. Accounting and Reporting

Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure financial data is accurate, complete,

and timely. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Hong Kong

Financial Reporting Standards (HKFRS) or International Financial Reporting

Standards (IFRS). Ensure timely and accurate submission of required financial and

regulatory reports to the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

3. Compliance and Risk Control

usage and risk exposure, including liquidity, credit, and market risks. Participate in

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) measures and the establishment of internal control

4. Tax and Cost Management

Responsible for tax planning and compliance filings to mitigate tax risks. Develop

cost control strategies to improve the efficiency of fund utilization.

5. External Relations and Audit Coordination

Maintain communication with external auditors, banks, investors, and regulatory

authorities. Coordinate annual audits and special audits to ensure clean audit

opinions or timely rectification.

Job Description:

The Role:

The Group Finance Manager will play a critical role in shaping the financial strategy, governance, and operations of the business in Hong Kong, the UK and the US. The successful candidate be responsible for building and managing a robust finance function, ensuring compliance with local regulations, driving financial performance, and supporting strategic decision-making across the group.

The successful candidate will play an active part of the management team. Reporting directly to the Senior Management Team, they will assist and contribute to decisions on the future direction of the Group. This will require engaging with a range of international stakeholders (both internal and external) which requires the successful candidate to have proficiency in both English and Mandarin.

The successful candidate will assume responsibility for day-to-day accounting activities for the Group (HK, UK, and US), whilst leading and supporting as appropriate key projects and initiatives to contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the company. The successful candidate will also contribute to other functional areas critical to the success of the Group. This will include leveraging expertise from third party providers in these areas as needed. The range of areas are indicative but initially include areas such as human resources, technology and facilities management.

This exciting role will be the key managerial appointment within the Hong Kong headquarters, with potential for professional development and progression for the successful candidate.

Responsibilities:

Finance

· Lead and manage all Financial operations across Hong Kong, the UK and the US

· Produce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial statements

· Oversee consolidation of Group accounts, ensuring alignment with relevant Financial reporting standards

· Develop and manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.

· Partner with the leadership team to shape Financial strategy, business plans, and funding needs

· Provide Financial data and insights to support commercial management (e.g. pricing, margin management etc)

· Establish and maintain robust internal controls and Financial governance

· Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (i.e. HK IRD, UK HMRC and US IRS)

· Payroll: oversee the administration of payroll processes through outsourced service provider.

· ICT: Developing and operating effective governance over all ICT systems and leading on ICT developments – including the local implementation of the Groups ERP system.

· Facilities management: support the identification, selection and leasing process of a new office premises and, thereafter, ensuring the effective operation of same.

· Support other functional areas as reasonably required to support the team and business objectives.

Experience and Qualification Requirements

Essential

Hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

· Qualified Accountant (CPA/ACCA/ACA) with a minimum of 5 years PQE (Post-Qualification Experience)

· Business level proficiency in English and Mandarin (Verbal and Written)

· Excellent knowledge of operational Financial activities within Hong Kong

· Experience of working with ERP systems

· Excellent proficiency with Microsoft packages, in particular Excel.

· Ability to work well as part of a team and to work independently with a willingness to take on additional duties as needed in a dynamic start-up environment

Desirable

· Experience working in a relevant or related sector

· Experience of implementing and/or enhancing ERP systems

· Experience of working with Infor SyteLine
