Prenetics (NASDAQ: PRE) is a leading health sciences company with a focus on consumer health. The company went public on NASDAQ in 2022 and continues to pioneer innovative solutions in consumer health.

IM8 is our newest venture, a next-generation health and wellness brand co-founded with global icon David Beckham. Launched in 2024, IM8 has become one of the fastest growing supplement brands in the world, within just six months. This remarkable growth demonstrates the power of combining cutting-edge science with strategic partnerships and exceptional execution. IM8 represents the future of daily wellness, offering science-backed supplements and health products that empower individuals to optimize their health.

Strategic Bitcoin Initiative: We have recently announced our groundbreaking initiative to become one of the largest corporate holders of Bitcoin in the world. This bold strategic move positions our companies at the forefront of digital asset adoption and demonstrates our commitment to innovative treasury management and long-term value creation. This initiative represents a significant opportunity for the EIR to gain exposure to corporate Bitcoin strategy, digital asset management, and the intersection of traditional business with cryptocurrency markets.

Both initiatives operate at the intersection of technology, health, and consumer innovation, with a strong focus on data-driven solutions, global scalability, and forward-thinking financial strategies.

Why this role matters

  • As we modernise our finance infrastructure and prepare for enhanced regulatory requirements, we need a senior finance leader who can:
  • Drive capital markets accounting and reporting – deliver institutional-grade financial reporting and compliance infrastructure to support fundraising, M&A transactions, and investor engagement.
  • Manage complex corporate development projects – lead strategic regulatory initiatives and coordinate with external advisers, regulators and stakeholders.
  • Lead US GAAP transformation and EGC graduation – convert group reporting to full US GAAP from IFRS, own periodic filings, and prepare for graduation as an Emerging Growth Company to full SOX 404(b) compliance with auditor attestation
  • Build the crypto accounting playbook – Support Prenetics' crypto strategy transformation, and operationalise emerging digital‑asset guidance and design robust treasury controls.
  • Lead a distributed team across multiple markets, elevating their technical acumen and agility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Convert group reporting from IFRS to US GAAP standards
  • Prepare for EGC graduation and implement SOX 404(b) compliance with auditor attestation in 2027
  • Lead corporate development and regulatory coordination projects
  • Support capital markets activities with robust accounting and reporting
  • Oversee quarterly/annual public‑company reporting, internal‑control testing and post‑emerging‑growth‑company compliance.
  • Design and maintain the digital‑asset accounting, valuation and safeguarding framework.
  • Drive continuous process and systems improvement across regional finance hubs.

Requirements

  • Deep US GAAP & capital‑markets expertise gained within a publicly listed environment; US CPA or chartered accountant with strong US listed company experience.
  • SOX 404 implementation or direct experience transitioning from an emerging‑growth company to full SOX 404 (b) compliance.
  • Demonstrated success leading SEC (or equivalent) filings and coaching teams through change.

Performance Milestones

  • First 90 days: Corporate development roadmap and SOX gap assessment
  • First 6 months: Achieve SOX‑ready status and finalise transition frameworks.
  • By 12 months: Projects completion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands‑on corporate‑restructuring / regulatory transition experience.
  • Working knowledge of digital‑asset accounting and auditing standards.
  • Prior success in high‑growth or startup cultures with a proactive, hands‑on approach.

Join us to make a huge impact as we revolutionize healthcare. The thing we most value is working with talented, growth-minded people, who don’t hesitate to jump into creative problem solving. We don’t believe in up or out, we don’t believe in rest and vest. We want to give you the opportunity to grow with us. Neither your career nor Prenetics is a sprint — they’re both marathons.

In our hiring process, we look at building a team with three essential factors: adaptability, ability and passion. We’ve discovered the greatest achievements come from the right people working collaboratively towards a shared goal. As Prenetics and our vision continues to grow, you’ll have the opportunity to constantly change and evolve with us.
