You are:
As part of our vision for a differentiated Financial Services proposition, we are seeking an Engineering Lead to build and lead a team of leading class software engineers and technology professionals. - Drive cross team collaboration including both on-shore and off-shore resources
- Infrastructure and Service Management
- Oversee the design and configuration of cloud infrastructure (Azure) and relevant services e.g., ACI, Blob, etc
- Collaborate with development teams to configure and manage the development pipeline and associated tooling e.g., CI/CD, Build/Deploy Tools, Testing, Monitoring, Infrastructure Automation, Code Repositories, etc
- Manage and optimize ongoing testing and release schedules that adhere to both internal security and risk standards as well as client standards
- Technical Product Management
- Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to ideate, design, and develop point solutions while leveraging existing solutions (internal and commercial) and monitoring technical debt
- Provide an environment which enables teams to ideate and rapidly prototype solutions to evaluate for commercial and technical viability
- Proven experience leading engineering teams in a high-growth environment.
- Strong proficiency in writing, reviewing, and delivering production-grade code and experience in mentoring teams to produce high quality code.
- Extensive expertise in software architecture, system design patterns, and modern engineering methodologies
- Experience in selecting and recommending a technology stack with the ability to articulate the architectural vision and business value of the said selection
- Experience in navigating security and compliance aspects of deploying technology into a regulated environment
- Deep understanding of modern engineering best practices, system architecture, and software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, design, and executive teams to drive outcomes.
- Outstanding problem-solving acumen leveraging strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; proven ability to derive insights from large volumes of unstructured information to solve complex, ambiguous problems.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
