Job Description
- Responsible for providing overall administrative support to the Financial Institutions department
- Coordinate with clients and handle the enquiries in order to assist relationship management team with banks and non-bank financial institutions
- Handle account opening, remittance, anti-money laundering and ensure the daily operations are in compliance
- Degree holder or above in Business Administration or equivalent qualifications at HKQF level 5
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in global financial institutions
- Familiar with MS Office applications and Chinese word processing
- High language proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is a must

Overview

Role Responsibilities
- Lead a small team to drive revenue from Banks (particularly PRC Banks) and align with the Financial Institutions Department, implementing action plans to meet business targets;
- Understand the transaction banking needs of Correspondent Banks to accommodate their specific requirements;
- Ensure the F.I. Banks portfolio complies with the Bank’s credit policies;
- Approve credit exposures of counterparties within delegated authority;
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support business needs and achieve targets;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key FIs, regulators, and decision-makers;
- Stay updated on market dynamics and industry conditions affecting opportunities and portfolio performance;
- Comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines, maintaining high integrity.
Requirements
- 12+ years of corporate banking (FI) experience from leading international banks;
- Experience motivating teams and managing cross-border teams to foster high performance;
- Preferably over 5 years of leading a team to achieve departmental business targets;
- Strong knowledge of correspondent banking, treasury, and clearing products;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills in English and Mandarin;
- Mature, high-caliber, and able to work under pressure.

What would your role be?

Requirements:

- Proven ability to thrive in high-pressure environments with strong self-motivation and resilience.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders effectively.
- Proactive leader who fosters accountability and encourages continuous learning and development within the team.
- Proficiency in English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.

Overview
An exclusive role to recruit a Head of Banks, Financial Institutions to join a large established bank and lead the FI Department in achieving business targets and executing departmental projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead a small team to drive revenue from Banks (particularly PRC Banks) and align with the Financial Institutions Department, implementing action plans to meet business targets;
- Understand the transaction banking needs of Correspondent Banks to accommodate their specific requirements;
- Ensure the F.I. Banks portfolio complies with the Bank’s credit policies;
- Approve credit exposures of counterparties within delegated authority;
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support business needs and achieve targets;
- Develop and maintain relationships with key FIs, regulators, and decision-makers;
- Stay updated on market dynamics and industry conditions affecting opportunities and portfolio performance;
- Comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and guidelines, maintaining high integrity.
Requirements
- 12+ years of corporate banking (FI) experience from leading international banks;
- Experience motivating teams and managing cross-border teams to foster high performance;
- Preferably over 5 years of leading a team to achieve departmental business targets;
- Strong knowledge of correspondent banking, treasury, and clearing products;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills in English and Mandarin;
- Mature, high-caliber, and able to work under pressure.

What would your role be?
- On-board and monetize new clients
- Service its existing network of Bank and Broker clients
- Service clients on the whole product lifecycle and maximize activity with pro-active advisory and investment led initiatives
- Increase share of wallet with innovative structured solutions and products
- Support the Asia Structured Solutions Financial Institution team in its Advisory and Client engagement efforts - marketing materials, idea generation, client acquisition, bank coverage and overall activity growth contribution
- Ownership of transversal tasks of various taskforces - product development, platform project management and new markets
- Degree in finance, management, economics, mathematics or science major
