Key Responsibilities:

Casework and support services including:

Requirements:

• Case Management

• Foster Family Recruitment & Training:

• Administration & Operations:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Social Work; Registered Social Worker in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities

Centralized Intake

• Oversee the implementation of centralized intake services in Mother's Choice to ensure the efficiency

and quality of services delivered to children referred for placement.

• Ensure close collaboration and communication across services team to identify potential placements

for children.

• To identify trends, monitor and review the centralized intake program that address the diverse service

needs and ensure the quality of service standards.

• Maintain and manage community partnerships with referral agencies.

Foster Family Vetting

• Oversee the implementation and provision of foster family vetting in accordance with the Social

Welfare Department's requirements, in line with Mother's Choice's policies and procedures, and to a

quality standard that serves children and families effectively.

• Develop and implement a robust system to facilitate foster family recruitment, assessment, approval,

support, and training of foster families.

• Plan and manage the long-term development and growth of foster family recruitment and retention

strategies.

• Support education and community awareness initiatives.

Casework, Program Management and Cross-team Collaboration

• Handle complex casework; lead, coach, and supervise a team of social workers to deliver high-quality

case management and advocacy for children.

• Ensure appropriate escalation of cases when necessary.

• Liaise with internal and external parties to represent and promote foster care services.

• Support and develop collaborative partnerships and opportunities with external stakeholders (e.g.,

professional groups, government departments, NGOs, etc.)

Operations

• Lead, coach, and supervise staff to ensure the delivery of quality services.

• Ensure consistent service provision and smooth daily operations.

• Oversee the administration and monitoring of service delivery, ensuring adherence to agency policies

and procedures.

• Assist in the completion, monitoring, and reporting of funding applications.

• Plan and manage annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.

• Monitor financial performance against the approved budget.
