Job Description

The successful candidate will develop their career in a specialised professional team of the Group Finance Department of a giant group of companies having a wide spectrum of business in Hong Kong. S/He will:

  • Participate in internal control on accurate, timely & efficient billing with proper compliance with applicable policies, procedures and regulations
  • Handle daily billing operations and liaise with internal parties
  • Recommend alternatives to supervisors on improving the existing systems and procedures
  • Prepare operation statistics and reports for management review
  • Support ad-hoc assignments

To succeed in this role:

  • Holder of higher diploma / degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or other related discipline with 1 year relevant working experience
  • Self-motivated, analytical and ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Committed team player
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Fast learners with less working experience (or fresh graduate) may also be considered.

Major Duties

We are looking for graduates who are passionate in developing a professional engineering career to join our Contracting Business Department. The appointee will be assigned to work in the Hong Kong International Airport in Chek Lap Kok and responsible for the following major duties:

  • Responsible for effective project management of maintenance contracts and projects at Hong Kong International Airport
  • Assist in preparing specifications for tendering, evaluating and selecting service contractors that meet technical specifications and engineering standards to achieve construction and operational targets
  • Coordinate with clients or related parties to plan, schedule and set up proper procedures and precautions to meet the Company's requirements and Safety, Health, Environment and Quality (SHEQ) standards
  • Prepare the site progress report and testing and commissioning report
  • Assist in monitoring subcontractors’ work performances and site safety
  • Other ad-hoc duties and shift duty as assigned

Requirements

  • Be a final-year university student or recent university graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related disciplines
  • Passionate in developing a professional career in electrical / mechanical engineering and energy efficiency projects
  • Relevant internship experience in electrical or mechanical fields is a plus
  • Customer-focused, proactive, and self-motivated. A good team player while be able to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese)

  • Perform credit management and debt collection actions
  • Carry out debt recovery actions on corporate customers via telephone and demand letters
  • Execute routine dunning actions for non-payment accounts on consumer segments
  • Liaise with different internal parties in resolving disputes and outstanding accounts
  • Monitor customer payment’s behaviour, perform credit assessment and prepare credit risk analysis/MIS reports to management
  • Handle other credit control issues and ad hoc assignments

To succeed in this role:

  • Diploma Holder or above in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years' working experience
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Proactive, outgoing, enthusiastic and sensitive to market/economic environment
  • Analytical and self-motivated in problem-solving
  • Proficient in MSOffice applications
  • Customer service experience is a plus

Fast learners with less working experience (or fresh graduate) may also be considered. Higher caliber candidate may be considered as Credit Control Officer

About The Role

Responsible for assisting and supporting in product development and implementation process of protection products, including CI, Medical and Accident and providing good quality and accuracy of deliverables in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Collect market information and conduct competitive analysis to support the development of right product solutions to meet customer needs and competitive market environments
  • Assist in product design and development cycle in line with the company strategies
  • Develop various product literatures (e.g. contract, PGS template, memo, product specification, training materials), product launch pack and presentation materials for product launches
  • Conduct User Acceptance Test (UAT) for different systems, such as Proposal Generation System (PGS), to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives
  • Prepare the business reports as assigned by supervisor and ensure accurate output
  • Review product literatures from other departments to ensure accuracy from product perspective
  • Coordinate and work closely with various departments (e.g. Law, Compliance, Operations, IT, Actuarial and Marketing departments) for assigned tasks to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
  • Participate in Product Implementation Taskforce and PGS regular meetings to support the implementation of the product launches, various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
  • Assist in various product maintenance tasks for inforce business (e.g. revamp in existing product literatures, fund maintenance, dividend review, periodic due diligence with bank partners, Day 2 product development items, etc.)
  • Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required


Requirements

  • Good communication and coordinate with internal parties, e.g. Marketing, Training, Operations, Actuarial, etc.
  • Communicate with sales channels through email, memo, and launch pack etc.
  • University / College graduate, actuarial science or related background preferred
  • Experienced in insurance products development and implementation with UAT experience is preferred (Senior Analyst)
  • Self-starter with good analytical ability
  • Creative with innovative thinking and customer oriented
  • Team player with positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
  • You are required to obtain relevant license if your job involves in regulated activities
  • Fresh gradudates are also welcome
