Job Summary:

AECOM is seeking a highly analytical and experienced System Analyst to support the design, analysis, and implementation of GIS and IT solutions for infrastructure and land-related systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business analysts, developers, and client-side teams to translate requirements into scalable system designs. This role may require working on-site at client offices.

• Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into system specifications.
• Design workflows, data models, and integration strategies for GIS and IT platforms.

1. Bachelor's degree or above in computer science, related engineering or equivalent;

2. At least five years of information technology related work experience, including at least three years of GIS system development experience, involving spatial data processing, Windows server management, database management, virtualization software or application development experience. Ability to repair and develop GIS systems;

3. Master the basic knowledge of GIS, and be able to skillfully define coordinate systems, coordinate conversion and projection for spatial data;

4. Master the basic operations of ArcGIS, SuperMap and other software, and be familiar with the basic knowledge of corresponding data organization, storage, display, etc.; be proficient in data processing, style making, and layer service publishing workflows for GIS data;

5. Familiar with ArcGIS Engine/ArcGIS Object secondary development and data processing tools; familiar with the development of ArcSDE 8;

6. Master common databases, such as SQLServer, Oracle, PostGreSQL, and understand the storage principles and methods of spatial data in databases;

7. Problem solving: Possess excellent system analysis and problem solving skills, and be able to quickly diagnose and repair system problems;

8. Communication and documentation: Good document writing skills, able to clearly record maintenance processes and test results, and effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical teams

9. Cantonese communication skills are preferred; English reading and writing skills are required; Geographic Information System majors are preferred;
