Key Responsibilities and Expectations :
- Develop and implement global compliance strategies that align with OSL’s business objectives while ensuring adherence to applicable regulations across diverse jurisdictions.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with new market entries and product launches, providing actionable insights to inform business roadmaps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design compliance frameworks that are adaptable to the evolving regulatory landscape, particularly in Australia and Bermuda.
- Monitor regulatory developments and trends in the cryptocurrency space to proactively address compliance challenges and opportunities.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders to advocate for OSL’s interests and ensure we are positioned as a compliant and trustworthy operator in the global market.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance matters, fostering a culture of compliance across the organization.
- Proactively identify compliance risks and propose solutions that align with our business objectives, ensuring that we remain compliant with complex licensing requirements tied to specific products and services.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance and risk management, with at least 2 years in the cryptocurrency or fintech space.
- Proven track record in developing and executing compliance strategies in a global context, with a strong understanding of regulations in Australia and Bermuda.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate potential compliance issues and develop proactive solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus, enhancing communication with regional stakeholders.

Your Key Responsibilities
As a Business Tax Services Senior, you’ll make technical contributions to business tax compliance and tax advisory engagements. You’ll actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships. You may participate in preparing or reviewing income tax returns for complex organizations in diverse and specialized industries; identifying tax savings and risk reducing opportunities for consideration and implementation; preparing or reviewing the statutory accounts for a domestic or foreign client; and preparing estimated tax liabilities to assist the client in meeting its tax payment obligations.

- Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel

- A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (MBA, Masters of Tax and LLM a plus) with strong academic credentials
- A minimum of 2 years of Hong Kong corporate tax experience gained from the financial industry or public accounting firm is desirable
- Professional accountancy qualification or working towards gaining one
- Strong negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges
