The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (“HKTDC”), the statutory organisation promoting Hong Kong’s external trade, seeks a dynamic and high-caliber professional to join our Creative Department.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the overall production of 2D graphics and the workflow system for corporate events and trade fairs (including on-site supervision)
  • Plan ahead and provide creative input, set innovative graphic templates for team members to follow
  • Give art direction / artistic advice in different phases of production of corporate publicity materials, including at printing process, photo shoots, and during video filming, editing / multi-media devices
  • Prepare concept presentations to pitch to internal customers
  • Liaise with different departments on design requirements
  • Cooperate with 3D designers / DO colleagues on the creative workflow system for assigned projects
  • Quality control of work assigned
  • Maintain good quality control and improve cost-efficiency on all projects with suppliers
  • Handle ad hoc / special projects assigned by DH/CR
  • Provide assistance for on-site setup and preparations
Requirements:
  • Degree holder with 8 years relevant working experience in graphic and branding design is required. Non-degree holders with strong experience will also be considered
  • Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere & Microsoft Word, PowerPoint & Excel
  • Proven record of managing all aspects of a successful digital product lifecycle
  • Strong organisational, project management, and planning skills; able to prioritise multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining work quality
  • Strong design sense and able to work independently or in a team to meet tight project deadlines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in English & Chinese
  • Responsible and self-motivated, with good communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as a good team player
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously with short timelines
Remuneration and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A competitive remuneration and benefits package, including annual leave, medical, and dental benefits, will be offered.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager of Creative & Design Team, you are responsible for the creative direction and design execution of the company’s integrated marketing and communications strategies across regional markets, including but not limited to:

  • At least 8 years of working experience in using Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, PowerPoint, and other common design software
  • Exposures in real estate and property development and/or retail luxury sector a definite advantage
  • Outspoken individual with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within and outside the company, with professional presentation skills in both conversational and written English and Chinese
  • A core competency in copywriting will be an advantage for success in this position
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered for the position of Senior Marketing Executive

About The Opportunity

At OKX, our Global Visual Design Team is at the heart of shaping the design language across all of our global markets, ensuring a seamless, modern, and pixel-perfect experience on both Web and App. We don't just focus on aesthetics – we're passionate about creating intuitive, delightful moments that foster emotional connections, build trust, and amplify the OKX brand ethos.

Our designs go beyond just complementing content and flows. We simplify complex crypto concepts, making both CeFi and DeFi experiences more accessible, engaging, and user-friendly. As a member of our internationally diverse visual design team, you'll work closely with talented Product Designers, Brand Designers, Product Managers, and Engineers from some of the leading tech companies in the world.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to craft dynamic, engaging user experiences that strengthen the connection between our products and users. By applying your expertise in creative design, you'll play a key part in shaping our visual identity and pushing the boundaries of innovation to drive both user engagement and brand impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Mid-Senior Level 3D Visual Designer who will be responsible for elevating our brand’s visual presence and crafting innovative, dynamic user experiences. Your role will include the following key responsibilities:

  • 3D Visual System Creation & Standardization: Design and establish a cohesive 3D visual system for our products, ensuring the development of new visual standards that maintain consistency and high quality across all designs.
  • Brand Visual 3D Design: Lead the creation of 3D designs for brand visuals, including but not limited to graphic design, illustrations, animation, rendering, and more. Ensure the designs align with the brand’s tone and effectively enhance brand identity.
  • Brand Image Revitalization & Innovation: Participate in the evolution and rebranding of the company’s image, exploring creative directions and providing forward-thinking design solutions to boost brand recognition and user experience.
  • Creative Design for Marketing & Product: Contribute to various marketing campaigns, product designs, and user interface designs, ensuring high-quality visual design and creative input for all relevant projects.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, operations, and marketing teams to understand business requirements and deliver creative design solutions that align with the company’s goals. Ensure that designs are effectively implemented and meet business objectives.
  • Trend Monitoring & Design Innovation: Stay up-to-date with global design trends, explore new technologies and tools (such as AI design tools), and drive design innovation. Implement these technologies to enhance creative processes and workflow efficiency.

What We Look For In You

  • Educational Background: A degree in Graphic Design, 2D / 3D character design, or a related field, with at least 3-5 years of professional experience in 3D visual design, and a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
  • 3D Design Expertise: Solid proficiency in 3D design with expertise in design tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, etc. Ability to work with a variety of styles and deliver high-quality creative solutions.
  • Brand Design Insight: A deep understanding of brand visual systems and principles, including color theory, typography, composition, and the ability to adapt designs to match brand tones and identity.
  • Comprehensive Design Skills: Ability to create designs across a variety of media, including illustration, graphic design, and 3D motion design. Experience in independently handling design tasks in each of these areas.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving and working in cross-functional teams.

Nice to Haves

  • Advanced 3D Software Proficiency: Expertise in industry-standard 3D design software such as Cinema 4D (C4D), Blender, Maya, etc. Ability to independently complete modeling, rendering, layout, and animation tasks.
  • Industry Experience: Previous experience in the internet, blockchain, gaming, or other relevant industries. Proven track record of successful projects and the ability to adapt designs for diverse business needs.
  • Mandarin Proficiency: The ability to understand basic Mandarin is a plus. This skill will facilitate communication and collaboration with teams in different regions and enhance your ability to engage in cross-cultural discussions within our international team.
