About The Role

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Sales will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing sales strategies to achieve short- and long-term business objectives. Leading a team of sales professionals, you will oversee multi-channel sales efforts across retail stores, key accounts, e-commerce, and distributors, while fostering strong partnerships with production and supply chain teams. This role demands a dynamic, strategic leader with deep expertise in retail and FMCG sales to drive sustainable growth and market leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the senior executives to align sales strategies with the company's mission, vision, and goals, driving sustainable revenue growth in Hong Kong and targeted overseas markets.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans and sales strategies to enhance market share, customer acquisition, and brand positioning in the competitive FMCG and retail sectors.
  • Lead multi-channel sales initiatives, including own retail stores, key accounts, e-commerce platforms, event sales, and distributor networks, to maximize revenue and market penetration.
  • Monitor and manage overall P&L, leveraging strong financial acumen to optimize cost-effectiveness, negotiate contracts, and prepare detailed business budgets and analytical reports.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand distribution networks, and develop strategic partnerships to drive market growth and enhance brand visibility.
  • Partner with production and supply chain teams to streamline operations, ensure product availability, and maximize operational efficiency to support sales objectives.
  • Establish and refine budgetary control systems and administrative processes to enhance operational effectiveness across departments and sites.
  • Evaluate company performance against sales targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing initiatives to drive efficiency and revenue growth.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, fostering a high-performance, results-oriented culture that aligns with company objectives.
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis to stay ahead of consumer behavior trends, ensuring sales strategies remain innovative and customer-centric.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; Master's degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 15 years of sales experience, with at least 7 years in a senior leadership role within the retail or FMCG industries.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and achieving ambitious sales targets in Hong Kong and/or international markets.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, digital marketing, and competitive analysis, with expertise in multi-channel sales strategies (retail, e-commerce, key accounts, and distributors).
  • Exceptional financial acumen, with experience managing P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and contract negotiations in a retail or FMCG environment.
  • Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to inspire teams and build strong cross-functional relationships.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
