Entry Requirements:
- (a) 3 years' satisfactory service in the Hospital Authority; OR

Preferable Attributes:
Completed Form 5 / Secondary 5 or equivalent.

THE CHINESE MEDICINE HOSPITAL OF HONG KONG
The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong (CMHHK) is a flagship Chinese medicine(CM) institution leading the development of CM including Chinese medicines (CMs) in Hong Kong. The CMHHK adopts a public-private partnership model. The HKSAR Government has financed the construction and selected the Hong Kong Baptist University as the contractor to incorporate the HKBU Chinese Medicine Hospital Company Limited as the operator to manage, operate and maintain the CMHHK.
The CMHHK is targeted to commence hospital services by phases at the end of 2025. The CMHHK aims to offer comprehensive CM care, ranging from primary, secondary to tertiary services, and promote advanced and specialised CM services. The CMHHK will pioneer integrated Chinese-western medicine (ICWM) services to cater to different patient needs. Inpatient, day-patient, and outpatient treatments and also community services will be offered by the CMHHK. Both Government-subsidised services and add-on market-oriented services will be provided to ensure accessibility and to meet the diverse healthcare needs of the community.
With a view to prioritising education, training, innovation and research, including collaboration with local and overseas universities to advance evidence-based clinical research and develop CM theories and clinical applications, the CMHHK is now looking for the following talent to join our team.
Pharmacist
Responsibilities:
Report to Senior Pharmacist and be responsible for the following duties:
- Assist the Department Manager / Senior Pharmacist in the planning, development and commissioning of western medicine pharmacy services;
- Support the development and maintenance of pharmacy informatics, automation/technology and related drug database for the safe and efficient delivery of pharmacy services;
- Develop, implement and maintain clinical pharmacy services;
- Perform drug distribution and other pharmacy functions upon hospital opening;
- Plan, develop and deliver educational/training and development programs for pharmacy staff and other health care professionals; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- Holder of a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or equivalent or above awarded by institutions recognised by the Pharmacy & Poisons Board of Hong Kong;
- Holder of a postgraduate degree in relevant discipline is preferable;
- Holder of a Certificate of Registration and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board of Hong Kong;
- At least 4 years' post-registration experience as a pharmacist or 2 years' post-registration experience as a pharmacist plus a relevant postgraduate professional degree or equivalent;
- Experience in hospital / clinic pharmacy practice is preferable;
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated and highly organised;

- Knowledge in hospital pharmacy operations and Pharmacy IT systems.
