About The Job
Based at the Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong, the Hotel Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring operational excellence, financial performance and guest satisfaction. As a key leader within the hotel, this role requires strong strategic thinking, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences. The Hotel Manager will drive efficiency, service quality, and financial success while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
As Hotel Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Main responsibility for F&B operations with direct reporting from that division, shared responsibility with Deputy General Manager for entire Operations incl. Rooms, Spa, Engineering, Security and IT
- Communicates with a variety of corporate departments regarding implementing standards, procedures and policies. Provides feedback on companywide initiatives
- Responsible for the implementation of all operational standards and their upkeep. Responsible for the delivery and execution of appropriate training plans in all operational areas and their updates, based on the hotel KPIs, guest’s comments and service audit results
- Handles any issues delegated by the Deputy GM or AVP and ensures timely rectifications of service standards when needed
- Executes all operational and strategic initiatives that have been discussed, providing feedback and alternatives
- Preparation of strategic business plans for the hotel specifically pertaining to Operations
- Development of Department Heads through coaching, mentoring and general communications. To use the Balanced Score Card and other appraisal formats as tools for goals and target settings and to engage in feedback
- Seasoned Director of F&B and/or Hotel Manager experience ideally in two different hotels
- 7 years’ professional experience in 5-star hotels
- International experience within a luxury hotel
- Impeccable professional image combined with good ethics and values

Key Responsibilities
- Monitor property management, revenue management, and channel management systems to ensure proper interfacing, identifying and reporting issues in a timely manner.
- Formulate and implement daily inventory and pricing decisions based on historical data, current trends, and future forecasts
- Provide recommendations on availability and pricing for corporate transient accounts and ad-hoc groups across various distribution channels, aligning with pricing and product strategies.
- Implement promotional offers and add-ons on designated websites and other digital channels.
- Compile regular administrative reports, including daily hotel status, weekly forecasts, and market analysis to facilitate management decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the hospitality industry; background in hospitality or resort operations is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of hotel management systems, including PMS, RMS, and channel management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including Macros and Visual Basic), Word, and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in database management tools is a plus.
- Excellent project management, organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities.
- Exceptional partnership, interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is required; proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.

- Assist in currency exchange.
- Degree / Diploma Holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines
- 2 year relevant experience in luxury hotels / hospitality industry
- Pleasant, presentable, confident with outgoing personality

Responsibilities
- Perform check in, check out and room change procedures in a professional manner and ensure all data are entered completely into the hotel systems;
- Provide quality service to all guests by responding to their requests promptly, efficiently and courteously at all time;
- Achieve the high level of guest satisfaction with courteous and friendly manner;
- Assist in currency exchange.
- Degree / Diploma Holder in Hospitality Management or related disciplines
- 2 year relevant experience in luxury hotels / hospitality industry
- Pleasant, presentable, confident with outgoing personality
- Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Putonghua
- Candidate with less experience will be considered as Front Desk Officer

Who are we?
The Silveri Hong Kong - Mgallery is a bespoke luxury boutique hotel located a five-minute drive from Hong Kong International Airport, part of the “Citygate” retail, commercial, and hotel development. The hotel appeals to business and leisure travelers seeking a unique, high-end experience.
The hotel features 206 rooms and suites, an Executive Lounge with outdoor terrace, a deli, bar, and restaurant amidst lush greenery, 2 meeting rooms with natural daylight, a 24-hour gym, and a large 25m outdoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi.
Job Description
- Provide luxury Food & Beverage service in accordance with the Accor Hotel Brand standards.
- Take orders and serve customers using the point-of-sales system.
- Communicate food orders with the kitchen team to ensure meals are prepared as ordered.
- Handle all cash and credit card transactions for food and beverage purchases.
- Oversee service operations and lead team members (waiters, casual staff, captains) to perform accordingly.
- Ensure beverage and condiments are stocked properly throughout shifts.
- Prepare and serve all types of beverages, including alcohol.
- Train team members and new hires to meet service standards.
- Respond to customer inquiries about hotel operations, food & beverage outlets, gym, and pool hours.
- Maintain knowledge of menu, prices, ingredients, offers, promotions, and discounts.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in a hotel Food & Beverage outlet is preferred.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (both written and spoken).
- Customer-oriented with a pleasant personality, good communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Willing to work shifts, including nights.
