Job Responsibilities

You will be part of Polymer Capital’s Human Capital team, handling HR Operations, Data Analysis, and HR system development. This operational role is responsible for delivering a full spectrum of human resource tasks, with a focus on data analytics. You will work closely with the Human Capital team to achieve key objectives.

  1. Manage and execute daily administrative and operational HR tasks, including visa applications and database maintenance.
  2. Handle monthly payroll processing and annual tax reporting independently.
  3. Analyze people data, extract insights, create templates, and make recommendations based on data analysis.
  4. Clean and prepare high-quality data, produce reports, conduct data audits, and resolve discrepancies.
  5. Perform workforce analysis to inform business decisions and strategy, including forecasting and budgeting.
  6. Partner with stakeholders to analyze trends, design solutions, and improve processes and systems to support business outcomes.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Statistics, or Finance.
  2. 5+ years of relevant HR Operations experience, including 3+ years of payroll experience in Hong Kong.
  3. Strong analytical skills with high data literacy.
  4. Expertise in PowerPoint and Excel.
  5. Professional integrity and a strong ethical mindset.
  6. Curious about human behavior, passionate about numbers, patient with data.
  7. Proficient in spoken and written English.

Person Specifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of HR experience; exposure to PRC practices is an absolute advantage.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered for the post of HR Officer.
  • Basic understanding of Hong Kong and China labor laws and employment regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and flexibility.
  • Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proactive team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Line Manager: Human Resources Manager

Job Purpose

This entry-level role in Corporate HR Team supports the full spectrum of the employee life cycle, with a focus on onboarding and offboarding, documentation, payroll preparation, and coordination of employment-related activities. The incumbent will also provide essential administrative support to the HR team and facilitate communication between the Corporate HR Team and all school HR teams. This role is critical to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations across the Group Offices. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Key Areas of Accountabilities

Management / Professional Focus

  • Support the Manager in managing the full employee life cycle, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, tax, and employee engagement.
