What You’ll Do
The HR Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day human resources operations with a primary focus on managing employee lifecycle from onboarding, staff movement to offboarding. Reporting to Human Resources Manager, you will support the Human Resources functions for Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan. This is a fast-paced position that requires superb communication and organizational skills as well as a high level of attention to detail.
Day-To-Day Responsibilities
- Support HR operations for Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan, ensuring seamless execution of regional processes while aligning with global initiatives
- Handle a full spectrum of HR Administrative support, including compensation & benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding procedures, staff movement, and employee engagement
- Play an important part in the team responsible for the Employee Experience
- Manage monthly payroll calculation, tax filing, retirement fund administration and leave administration
- Oversees employee data input and maintenance within the company HRIS system, validating that all data entered and maintained within the employee records is accurate and updated, in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Generate and analyze HR reports on key metrics, providing insights to support business decisions.
- Respond to general inquiries about Human Resources forms, procedures and policies
- Processes and tracks Employee Bonus Referral Program
- Other duties assigned as needed
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion
- Ability to effectively work in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Clear and professional communication skills (written and oral) both internally and externally
- Effective communication and interaction with employees, clients, and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Business or related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years Human Resources experiences
- Knowledge of Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan labor laws and regulations but not a must.

- A University graduate, preferably major in Human Resources or related disciplines.

Line Manager: Human Resources Manager
Job Purpose
This entry-level role in Corporate HR Team supports the full spectrum of the employee life cycle, with a focus on onboarding and offboarding, documentation, payroll preparation, and coordination of employment-related activities. - Coordinate visa applications and related mobilization matters for new and existing employees.
- Maintain and update HR systems and employee records.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant employment regulations.
Operational Focus
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
- Prepare monthly HR reports for management review.
- Assist in onboarding and offboarding logistics and documentation.
- Liaise with internal departments and School HR to ensure smooth HR operations.
- Organize logistics for HR meetings, training, and events.
Others
- Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives.
- Support HRIS audits and ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with ad-hoc HR tasks as assigned.
Person Specifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of HR experience; exposure to PRC practices is an absolute advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with more experience may be considered for the post of HR Officer.
- Basic understanding of Hong Kong and China labor laws and employment regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and flexibility.
- Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proactive team player with a positive and collaborative attitude.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
