The
Digital IC Design Engineer
will participate in all phases of VLSI development from concept and architecture to design implementation, verification, test plan, chip testing and debugging.

Responsibilities

• RTL coding, FPGA
  , design verification, logic synthesis, DFT and static timing analysis and etc.
• Develop verification environment to improve test coverage.
• Support tape-out and post-silicon activities including validation, characterization, and production test.
• Research latest DSP algorithm and its modelling and implementation.
• Prepare technical documents.

Requirements

• Candidates with a Master's or MPhil degree in Electronics, Electronic Engineering, or related fields are preferred.
• Verilog based logic design and synthesis, constrained random testbench with System Verilog & UVM, assertion based design verification.
• Knowledge of low power logic design.
• Knowledge of digital signal processing algorithm and its implementation.

• Manage and oversee daily operations of the Hong Kong IC design team.

• Optimize circuits for better performance, yield, and reliability.

Skills & Qualifications

• Education & Experience:
• BSEE (or equivalent) with 15+ years of relevant experience, OR
• MSEE (or equivalent) with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• More experienced candidates may be considered for a senior-level position.
• Technical Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor device physics.
• Hands-on design experience in circuits such as bandgap references, amplifiers, regulators (linear/switching), ADC/DACs, temperature sensors, and oscillators.
• Proficiency in layout considerations for critical analog circuitry.
• Experience with DC-DC converters preferred.
• Tools & Methods:
• Skilled with schematic entry and layout software (e.g., Cadence Virtuoso Suite).
• Familiar with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and soldering stations.
