About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Test Engineer to join the team at Gemini Personnel Limited in our Kwai Chung Kwai Tsing District office. As a Test Engineer (eletrionic devices), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our electronic products. What you'll be doing

1. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to validate the performance and functionality of electronic devices
2. Analyse test data, identify issues, and recommend solutions to improve product quality

4. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in electronic testing
5. Document test procedures, results, and recommendations to maintain a robust quality assurance process

What we're looking for

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Engineer, preferably in the electronic devices industry
• Proficient in the use of test equipment and tools, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and signal generators
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electronic testing
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

5. 自動化測試開發: 根據專案需要,設計、開發和維護自動化測試腳本和框架(如UI自動化、介面自動化),提升回歸測試的效率與可靠性。

6.測試報告與品質評估: 編寫和發佈測試報告,對測試結果進行分析,總結測試數據,評估產品品質狀態,為產品能否發佈提供決策依據。

· 工作經驗3年以上。電腦科學、軟體工程、資訊技術、數據科學等專業本科或以上學歷。

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated testing scripts using various tools and technologies, such as Ruby, Python, Selenium, Cucumber.
• Execute both automated and manual tests, analyse test results, and report defects to user teams, ensuring timely resolution and improving product quality.
• Optimize existing automated tests and develop new tests to increase test coverage, reduce manual testing efforts, and improve testing efficiency.
• Learn from senior team members and participate in training and development opportunities to improve your skills and knowledge in automation testing.
• Study business requirement and functional specification, design and prepare functional test documents, execute test cases, and manage defects.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of software testing experience, including at least 2 years of automation testing experience.
• Basic understanding of various automation testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium and Cucumber.
• Basic understanding of programming languages such as Ruby, Python, or Java.
• Basic understanding of Git, JIRA, Jenkins and similar testing tools.
• Basic understanding Linux commands.
• Working knowledge of web protocols: HTTP and HTML and understanding of how Xpath works and how to apply it.
• Good English writing and reading skills, Cantonese speaking preferred.

Your tasks:

• Prepare samples by various digestion and extraction methods
• Conduct chemical analysis according to standard operating procedures
• Run analytical instruments (e.g GC-MS. HPLC, LC-MS, UV-VIS, ICP, AAS etc.)
• Maintain instruments sustainability
• Analyze data and issue result
• Implement of the laboratory management system in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 and related requirement by accreditation/ certification body (CB, CNAS, DAkkS, HOKLAS, ZLS etc)

Your qualifications:

• Higher Diploma/ Degree holder in Chemistry or related discipline
• Relevant working experience in chemical testing or chemistry related industry is an advantage
• Good understanding in quality and safety requirements in chemical laboratories
• With hand on experiences in operating and performing maintenance for instruments: (1) ICP-OES, (2) UV-VIS, (3) GC-MS, (4) HPLC-MS is an advantage
• Hardworking, self-motivated and a good team player
• Able to work independently and under pressure
