The Strategic Partnership and Admissions Senior Executive will be responsible for the student recruitment strategies and implementation for The University of Manchester East Asia in the Causeway Bay District. This full-time role will focus on supporting and uplifting working professionals in their career and entrepreneurial journeys, identifying and capitalizing on new student recruitment and impact collaboration opportunities.

What you'll be doing

  • Implementing strategies to ensure effective student recruitment for the University's Postgraduate Programmes in East Asia.
  • Complete range of admission procedures and manage leads from different online and offline sources and social media platforms.
  • Support student recruitment initiatives including 1-to-1 consultation, referral scheme and information sessions either via online or in-person format, follow up communications and attendance analyse.
  • Update and maintain existing leads tracker/ student recruitment CRM, create dashboards and insight reports to ensure up-to-date data is available regarding recruitment and marketing performance.
  • Working in close collaboration with the university in the UK to leverage key relationships, planned recruitment activity and best practices.
  • Conduct in-depth research on the competitive landscape, including market trends, industry players, and emerging technologies. Analyze data to identify key opportunities.
  • Support the supervisor in formulating strategies for product rollouts and recruitment. Assist in identifying potential target segments and evaluating market opportunities.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefings based on research findings. Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to senior management.

What we're looking for

  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar account management role in higher education field, with a proven track record of success in customer engagement and relationship building.
  • Strong commercial acumen and communications skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in project management, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Degree qualification in a relevant field, such as business, marketing or communications.

Senior Executive Assistant/Executive Assistant, Strategic Partnerships (at the rank of Clerk I/II) in the Faculty of Business and Economics (Ref.: to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis, with contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 10% of basic salary, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Applicants should possess a good bachelor's degree, with at least 1 to 2 years' experience in administration, industry research, business analysis or a related field.  They should be good team players with good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).  Data management, organisational and multitasking skills are required, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite would be a definite advantage.  Those with less experience and fresh graduates may be considered Executive Assistant.

The appointee will play a vital role in the daily operations of the Faculty's Strategic Partnerships Office by providing administrative support, managing records, and assisting with various clerical tasks.  He/She will also be required to ensure smooth communication and efficient workflow in the team, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining files; inputting and updating information in databases and spreadsheets, ensuring data integrity; serving as a point of contact for faculty and clients, providing information and assistance as needed; helping organize and coordinate events, workshops, and meetings; and performing other duties as assigned.  Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test and an interview.
