We are now looking for a suitable person to fill the following position in the Lee Shau Kee School of Business and Administration:
Academic Support Officer / Assistant Academic Support Officer (B&A)(Ref:
Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Supporting the delivery and administration of programmes and courses offered by the School;
- Providing secretarial and clerical support at committee meetings and other daily operations and activities of the School;
- Coordinating co-curricular and academic events and activities;
- Assisting in the liaison with both internal and external parties; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- A recognized degree;
- At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the education sector;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua);
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders;
- Proficiency in computer applications; and
- A good team player with strong sense of responsibility and ownership.
Fresh graduates or applicants with less relevant experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Academic Support Officer.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Supporting the School's daily operations, academic programmes, projects, and activities;
- Assisting with quality assurance and accreditation exercises, and maintaining records;
- Providing secretarial and administrative support;
- Delivering frontline student services and office operation; and
- Handling enquiries and liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- At least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics;
- Experience in general administration / supporting services is preferable;
- Good communication skills in English & Chinese (including Putonghua);
- Good computer skills; and
- Should be self-motivated, fast learning and able to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Handling the day-to-day operations of the programmes/courses offered by the School (including answering of enquiries, programme admissions, teaching practicum support, liaison with internal and external parties, updating of webpages);
- Providing frontline services for students and visitors;
- Supporting committee work, daily activities and events of the School; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- Have attained at least 5 subjects with Level 2 in HKDSE (or equivalent), including English & Chinese languages and Mathematics, preferably with a recognized bachelor's degree;
- 3 years of relevant work experience;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Effective organization skills, able to attend to details, and capable of multi-tasking;
- Competency in computer skills (including WORD, EXCEL and Chinese word processing);
- Good command of English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua);
- A strong sense of responsibility and motivation, and be able to work independently as well as in a team;
- Previous experience in Graphic Design will be beneficial; and
- Preference will be given to those with experience in general administration / supporting services in educational settings.

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Providing support for the daily operations of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, including programme operation, student administration and related teaching and learning activities, events and activities organised by the School;
- Assisting academic staff in managing the academic programmes and students' academic records;
- Providing administrative and clerical support to the School, including but not limited to data entry, internal mailing, ordering and maintaining furniture/stationery stock, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of the office;
- Handling purchase requisitions and orders, updating records, and preparing reports;
- Managing an effective filing system and School database;
- Providing secretarial support for committees and meetings;
- Assisting with the design of seminar/event posters and managing the social media accounts of the Department of Physiotherapy;
- Providing customer/counter service and handling enquiries; and
- Performing any other duties as assigned by the Dean of School of Nursing and Health Sciences or his/her nominee.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- At least 5 subjects with Level 2 or above in HKDSE or equivalent, including English & Chinese languages, Mathematics. A recognised degree is preferred;
- Strong attention to detail;
- A team player with strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills;
- Good working knowledge of design software such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and/or Photoshop;
- Preferably two years of relevant administrative experience in tertiary education sector;
- Good command of English and Chinese (preferably in Putonghua as well); and
- Good knowledge of computer skills.
