The ROC Infrastructure Analyst will be responsible for supporting the stability, maintenance, and optimisation of IT infrastructure services across the region.

You’ll play a key role in monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining essential infrastructure, including networks, servers, and storage. Reporting to the ROC Infrastructure Team Lead, you’ll work closely with IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and efficient service delivery.

What you'll need:

  • Proven experience supporting core infrastructure technologies that support business operations.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft technologies - Windows client and server, SCCM, InTune, GPO, Active Directory.
  • Good knowledge of virtualisation technologies (Vmware, Azure Stack) and cloud (Microsoft Azure, M365).
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to communicate with stakeholders and technologists in the wider team.
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals certification or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.

What you'll be doing:

  • Monitoring system performance, resolving incidents, and conducting routine maintenance such as updates and patches.
  • Identifying potential infrastructure issues, optimising resource utilisation, and maintaining accurate documentation.
  • Working alongside IT teams and business stakeholders to provide excellent support and issue resolution.
  • Supporting infrastructure deployments, conducting testing, and ensuring smooth implementation of upgrades.
  • Follow best practices to maintain infrastructure security and assist with audits and compliance assessments.

  • Conduct risk management, SIP initiatives, and technical audits, maintaining audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
  • Implement and enforce processes, guidelines, and procedures for installation, operation, and support of desktops, servers, network infrastructure, legacy systems, and email systems.
  • Manage vendors and onsite support engineers to ensure a secure, stable, and resilient environment.
  • Support desktop environments, MS Windows, Office, Active Directory, email and messaging applications, telecom, trader voice, and market data systems like Bloomberg and Refinitiv.
  • Maintain Dealing Room infrastructure, including cable infrastructure, electricity capacity, and BCP site readiness.

Other Responsibilities

  • Embed the group's values and perform other duties as assigned, ensuring compliance with local laws and internal policies.
  • Maintain internal controls, contribute to investigations, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Service management skills, proficiency with M365 tools, Windows, and Active Directory.

Qualifications

  • Experience in IT support, operations, and projects within a wholesale banking environment.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure supporting banking services, including mainframes, mid-range systems, networking, and telecommunications.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, knowledge of e-trading tools, and PC/server applications (MCSE preferred).
  • Understanding of IT security policies and project management skills.

  • Familiar with the following platforms / systems : LAN & WAN, Telephony Systems, Network Monitoring Tools and Security Products (e.g. Cisco routers, Cisco/Huawei switches, Avaya PABX, WFO, Checkpoint/Juniper/Cisco Firewalls/F5 Load Balancer)
  • Experience to support VDI or Huawei SDN is an advantage
  • Self-initiated to deliver excellent services
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure with integrity
  • Positive attitude with high sense of responsibility and can-do spirits
  • Good analytical & communication skills

Requirements
Requirements:
  • Degree or above in Computer Science or IT related disciplines;
  • 6 years or above experience in network infrastructure / security / wireless LAN infrastructure;
  • Network experience on Cisco / Juniper / Huawei / H3C / Ruckus / HPE / Fortinet products;
  • Hands-on experience on Cisco / Juniper / Huawei / HPE is preferred;
  • Cisco CCIE / Huawei HCIE Level or equivalent is preferred;
  • Security and WLAN experience may also be considered;
  • Able to work independently;
  • Good command in both spoken English and Chinese;
  • Candidates with more experience may be considered as Senior Network Consultant
