for the Infrastructure Investment Team based in Hong Kong. The Infrastructure team invests in four key verticals across Asia Pacific: environment management, energy transition, digital infrastructure, and transport and mobility. The Analyst will be an integral part of the investment team working to both evaluate new opportunities and manage existing investments.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth financial modelling and valuation analyses to assess potential investment opportunities in infrastructure assets.
• Support the due diligence process, including market research, competitor analysis, and operational assessments of target investments.
• Prepare investment memoranda and presentations for internal stakeholders and investment committees.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of existing portfolio companies, providing insights and recommendations for value creation.
• Collaborate with senior team members on deal sourcing, negotiation, and execution of investments.
• Assist in the development of market reports and investment theses related to infrastructure sectors
• Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors impacting the infrastructure investment landscape.
• Support the team in various ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications and skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in private equity or investment banking, preferably with a focus on infrastructure or real assets.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of infrastructure markets and investment strategies is preferred.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong desire to learn and grow within the firm.
• Proficiency in Japanese is highly preferred and will be considered an advantage

Project Nature:

Serving as a member of the in-house project team in the Digital Policy Office to provide technical support for (A) the implementation of a one-stop web platform for application and processing of after-death related public services and (B) the on-going enhancement and maintenance of Government web portal(s) on a multi-site platform.

Duties:

• Serve a contract assignment under InfoTech's headcount, full-time second to serve a statutory body.

Part A related duties:

• i. To provide overall technical support for the design and development of the platform
• ii. To evaluate vendor-proposed solutions in terms of technical feasibility for meeting operational requirements, readiness of system deployment and security compliance
• iii. To assist in analysing user requirements
• iv. To assist in setting up server/cloud infrastructure
• v. To conduct user acceptance tests and follow up with the engaged contractor(s) and government staff for problem fixing
• vi. To assist in IT-related procurement exercise, such as preparing technical specifications for service requirements
• vii. To liaise with and manage the engaged contractor(s) and work with government staff for project implementation

Part B related duties:

• i. To perform ongoing system maintenance, including problem determination, management, resolving and bug fixing, and implementing software patch updates to ensure system stability and reliability
• ii. To conduct impact analysis of bug fixes, configuration changes, or ad-hoc enhancements on system performance and user experience
• iii. To monitor system performance, advise on system performance improvement options, and perform system tuning regularly to maintain optimal performance and availability
• iv. To carry out system administration tasks such as user management, access control, security monitoring, and configuration management
• v. To implement ad-hoc enhancement requests and deliver solutions
• vi. To discuss, coordinate and consult DPO technical support teams and other related government B/Ds and other contractor(s) on all maintenance and support matters and produce/maintain/review documentations

Other requirements:

• i. To assist in preparing/maintaining/reviewing IT-related deliverables
• ii. To undertake other IT-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:

• i) Knowledge in web platform development and administration is required
• ii) Knowledge in setting up server/cloud infrastructure is required
• iii) Working experience in user liaison and coordination is required
• iv) Project management experience or certification is most welcome

Technical Skills:

• At least 3 years' experience in SSADM (SDM);
• At least 2 years' experience in Server Virtualisation Technology (SVT);
• At least 2 years' experience in Client/Server Application Development (C/S);
• At least 2 years' experience in JAVA Programming (JAV);
• At least 2 years' experience in PHP programming (PHP);
• 2 years' experience in MySQL (MSQ) is an advantage;
• 2 years' experience in HTML5 (HT5) is an advantage;
• 2 years' experience in Website Administration (WEA) is an advantage;
• 2 years' experience in Web Programming (WEB) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in System Implementation and Maintenance/Support (SIM) is an advantage.

Non-technical Skills:

• Good coordination skills is a must;
• At least 3 years' experience in IT service/outsourcing management (OUT);
• At least 2 years' experience in work with the Government (GOV);
• 2 years' experience in project management (PRM) is an advantage;
• 1 year's experience in managing Government projects (IEG) is an advantage.

Bachelor's degree/Higher Diploma in Computer Science, IT or equivalent;
