Job Summary
The Infrastructure Architecture & Delivery Associate Director is responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing within the organization's technology infrastructure. This includes servers, storage systems, networks, security components, cloud technologies and modern workplace. The role involves ensuring compliance with security regulations, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and maintaining documentation of infrastructure architecture. This role also focusses on solution delivery, translating business requirements into IT solutions that are scalable, reliable, and secure. This includes working with public cloud environments, ensuring solutions align with architectural roadmaps, and leading infrastructure projects.

The Job

  • Develop and execute cloud strategies in alignment with business objectives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security of cloud-based solution
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including executives, business units, and IT teams, to understand requirements and translate them into cloud architecture solutions
  • Conduct architecture reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements
  • Drive the adoption of cloud technologies and services, identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization
  • Oversee the selection and implementation of cloud platforms, tools, and services, considering factors such as cost, performance, and scalability
  • Define and enforce cloud and network architecture standards, policies, and procedures
  • Leverage experience with Office 365 to enhance collaboration and productivity within the team, ensuring seamless integration with cloud solutions
  • Design and implement robust office network and Wi-Fi architectures to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of the company's IT infrastructure
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in cloud computing and network architecture
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on complex cloud and network architecture and implementation projects
  • Manage relationships with managed service providers, ensuring service level agreements are met and overseeing the performance and delivery of services
  • Lead and manage a team of cloud & modern workplace architects and engineers, providing mentorship, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative work environment
  • Develop team goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with overall business strategies and cloud initiatives

The Person

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience (10+ years) in infrastructure technology and management, preferrably within financial institutions
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud platforms, including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS) offerings
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external service providers
  • Hands-on experience with cloud architecture patterns, microservices, containers, serverless computing, and hybrid cloud environments
  • Hands-on experience in designing and implementing robust network architectures to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of the company's IT infrastructure
  • Proficiency in cloud-related technologies and tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Infrastructure architecture design and roadmap defining
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
