What The Day Will Look Like
- Management of special lines claims (including financial lines, PI, D&O, Crime, Cyber, IMI)
- Providing expert advice to brokers and claims handlers on reporting procedures
- Analysing and reviewing coverage issues
- Conducting claims reviews
- Acting as a focal point and support to advocate for contentious, or serious losses
- Providing Litigation support to clients to facilitate the settlement of claims
- Support colleagues in delivering Aon’s claims services to existing and potential clients, including participating in presentations
- Creating/improving library of claims case studies and success stories
- Analysis of claims data
- Providing training to colleagues and junior team members
- University graduate with equivalent experience, a minimum 5 years working experience in special lines claims management is highly preferred
- IIQE qualified or holder of ACII or ANZIIF (Associate) will be added advantage
- Claims handling experience in insurer or insurance broking firm
- Team work is essential whilst being proactive and working independently
- Must be able to understand and interpret policy wordings precisely and apply the same to real claim cases
- Results oriented, self-motivated, and accountable on assigned task
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Our client, a leading investment management firm, is looking for a Senior Quantitative Analyst for their rapidly growing Middle Office Analytics team. In this role, you will play a critical part in helping them understand and manage their investment portfolio
Responsibilities:
- Analyze investment returns to identify key drivers and create models that show how performance is impacted by asset allocation and security selection
- Design and refine the frameworks used for making both long-term and short-term decisions about the investment mix, ensuring they align with the firm's goals and risk tolerance
- Assess various risks to the portfolio, including market, credit, and liquidity risks. This involves forecasting future exposures and evaluating past ones, as well as collaborating with risk teams to integrate these insights into the investment strategies
Requirements:

Key Responsibilities
- Finance Transformation Projects:
- Partner with Finance, Actuarial, and IT teams to drive finance transformation initiatives.
- Analyze and improve existing finance and actuarial processes, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Support the implementation of new systems and tools to optimize reporting and operational workflows.
- Business Analysis:
- Gather, document, and prioritize requirements from stakeholders across Finance and Actuarial teams.
- Translate business needs into functional specifications and support the end-to-end delivery of solutions.
- Collaborate on testing, deployment, and post-implementation reviews to ensure seamless integration.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with Actuarial teams to understand data, modeling, and reporting requirements.
- Act as a bridge between Finance, Actuarial, and IT teams to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Present analysis, updates, and recommendations to senior stakeholders, driving informed decision-making.
- Data and Reporting Enhancements:
- Contribute to automation and streamlining of financial and actuarial reporting processes.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as IFRS 17 and Solvency II.
- Help integrate finance and actuarial systems for improved data accuracy and accessibility.
- Change Management:
- Support the adoption of new processes and technologies across the organization.
- Provide end-user training and materials to ensure a smooth transition to new systems.
- Industry Expertise:
- At least 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in Finance Transformation roles.
- Proven experience in the insurance industry (in-house or through a consulting firm).
- Familiarity with actuarial processes, models, and collaboration with actuarial teams.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Knowledge of finance and actuarial systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Prophet.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Understanding of regulatory standards like IFRS 17, Solvency II, or equivalents.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
