• Proficiency in data modelling, database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB), and programming , Java or C++).
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in ITF or Contract Services R&D projects as assigned.
• Develop deep learning models for smart city and fintech applications.
• Develop data analytics systems.
• Machine learning models training.
• Data collection and cleaning.
• Front-end and back-end development.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Mathematics, Computational Finance, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant discipline.
• At least 1 years of experience in domain knowledge related to machine learning model development for financial applications. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the position of Engineering Associate.
• Experience in using tools and environment for developing AI and deep learning models.
• Knowledge on SLM, LVLM, LLM, etc.
• Experience in programming using Python.
• Knowledge in cryptography is a plus.

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.

1. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of front office applications, focusing on client connectivity, trade capture, and inventory management.

AI/Data Integration System Engineer (Python)
to manage our client's AI projects from start to finish, including quick prototypes and large-scale production.

This role combines hands-on AI development—creating tools that improve trading and risk management—with data engineering to ensure everything runs smoothly.

You will

• Experiment with new AI methods, build efficient data pipelines, and integrate AI insights.
• Collaborate with innovative AI startups to identify valuable technologies and ensure our AI efforts are practical and forward-thinking
• Working closely with our Product Manager, engineers, and investment teams, you will prioritize projects and deliver effective solutions that meet our goals, while maintaining high standards of security and compliance in a regulated environment.

Backend Services & Pipelines

• Develop and maintain Python-based backend services and data processing pipelines.

AI Integration

• Build RAG pipelines for financial and unstructured data and integrate AI systems into workflows.

Infrastructure & Operations

• Monitor Kubernetes-based cloud infrastructure and optimize performance for stable deployments.

Looking for:

• Backend Engineering
  : Strong Python experience in building data pipelines.
• Database Knowledge
