We're a fast-growing IT/telecom services provider looking for a
hands-on systems engineer
who can learn quickly, work independently, and support the build-out of our infrastructure platform. The role combines
rack-and-stack hardware work in Hong Kong data centers
with
Linux and networking engineering
. You'll be mentored, but expected to teach yourself and take ownership as you go.

Responsibilities:

• Rack and stack servers, switches, and storage in Hong Kong data centers
• Handle cabling, labeling, and deployment documentation
• Install, configure, and maintain Linux-based servers
• Support VoIP and SIP platforms (PBX, SBC, or related systems)
• Assist with network infrastructure (firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, routing)
• Monitor system health, logs, and backups, escalate issues where needed
• Follow SOPs for compliance and contribute to documentation
• Provide occasional client-site support for router/firewall setup
• Work alongside senior engineers to pick up advanced skills (identity, automation, observability)

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of IT systems or network experience (or equivalent self-taught/lab projects)
• Fluent Cantonese and English; able to coordinate with local and international vendors with the same level of comfort
• Solid Linux knowledge (CLI, package management, services)
• Understanding of basic networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls, QoS)
• Comfortable with server hardware and cabling work
• Able to learn fast and work independently with minimal hand-holding
• Good documentation habits and attention to detail

Nice-to-Have (limited training provided if missing):

• Experience with open-source virtualization or storage platforms

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, hands-on, and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer to support our R&D and project development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, a passion for problem-solving, and a keen interest in design, manufacturing, testing, and system development.

This role requires a practical mindset, adaptability, and a proactive attitude—someone who can learn quickly, anticipate challenges, and take ownership of tasks while working closely with the Senior Mechanical Engineer. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in design, prototyping, and development of mechanical systems.
• Create and review 2D technical drawings (GD&T, tolerancing) and 3D models.
• Support manufacturing, assembly, and testing of prototypes.
• Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving in the workshop/lab.
• Perform FEA, simulations, and validation testing (if applicable).
