Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, market research, or technical analysis within the crypto/Web3 industry.
  • Proven track record of conducting research in crypto or blockchain space.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Solidity, Rust, or Go.
  • Experience with blockchain platforms such as Ethereum, Polkadot, or Cosmos.

As an Associate in the Emerging Market Corporate Bond Team, you will be responsible for producing high quality, insightful and impactful credit research on Emerging Market corporate bond issuers across multiple sectors. The analysis will include both fundamental and relative value analysis across issuers, maturities, and currencies. You should have strong written and verbal skills and be able to communicate your views to portfolio managers and analysts, across Hong Kong, Shanghai, London and New York.

Job responsibilities

  • Build bottom-up fundamental research and relative value analysis on a group of corporate credits across multiple sectors under assigned coverage.
  • Perform fundamental sector analysis and be conversant in factors driving performance of the industry and constituents.
  • Develop relative value opinions on covered credits and be able to present views in discussions with portfolio managers.
  • Recommend relative value ranking for each sector and issuer covered.
  • Publish concise and well-structured research notes on issuers under coverage on regular basis.
  • Coordinate credit and relative value views, including relative value across currencies, with counterparts and portfolio managers in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai and New York.
  • Interact with company managements, sell side analysts (debt & equity), and rating agency analysts.
  • Attend industry conferences and other investor meetings as appropriate.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • 5 years+ of Emerging Market corporate research experience, on the buy-side with a proven track record or with a top-tier sell-side institution.
  • Strong fundamental credit analysis and financial modelling skills.
  • Solid understanding of relative value analysis and factors influencing credit spread performance.
  • Understanding of key ESG drivers for the sectors covered.
  • BA/BS/MBA or equivalent.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) in English.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Team player.
  • Excel, Word, Power Point and Bloomberg.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

  • Experience covering / investing in multiple corporate sectors in Asia across investment grade and high yield issuers.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) in Chinese.
  • CFA or progress towards achieving.

  • Define objectives for the Marketing function in partnership with the senior leaders of the organization and of the leadership team
  • Drive implementation / execution of Marketing strategies and tactics to achieve key results as set on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Empower Marketing team leads across the business units to succeed in their roles and deliver commercial outcomes across our product suite
  • Empower our Local and Community Management teams to grow the addressable market for our products and the overall CoinMarketCap ecosystem
  • Instill a culture of practice, performance, and data orientation through consistent project management across social media, web, chat, content, and video assets
  • Support and enable the Brand and PR teams to tell a compelling and coherent narrative about CoinMarketCap and the role of the company and its products in the emergence of the decentralized web


Responsibilities:

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology, financial services, or fintech companies, of which 5 was focused on a leadership or management role in a Marketing function
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering on growth metrics, such as web traffic, leads, client conversions, and revenue generation
  • Understanding of how to manage a complex portfolio of products with multiple brands, customer audiences, and conversion funnels
  • Experience managing to a budget and making trade-off decisions between marketing programs, based on quantitative analysis and product outcomes
  • Strong project management capability and detail orientation
  • Experience growing passionate user or developer communities in order to catalyze market adoption of technologies
  • Ability to effectively manage a complex, remote-first team with a diverse set of backgrounds, opinions, and working styles
  • A collaborative approach to working with senior stakeholders with a variety of reasoned views and expectations
  • Ability to leverage a professional network to achieve business objectives, and grow the team as the business matures
