Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced procurement and supply chain professional to lead a category team responsible for Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) equipment, works and maintenance services. The successful candidate will be accountable for managing the procurement category team delivery across BU stakeholders (Hong Kong Transport Services, HK Property, Corporate Functions).
The position will ensure effective business partnering whilst focusing on procurement value delivery and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs). Major KPIs include Procurement Benefits, Delivery Leadtimes, Customer Satisfaction and Supplier Performance Management.
This role requires demonstrated category and supply market expertise, application of procurement leading practices and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Category Leadership. Lead the assigned Category team to provide effective end-to-end procurement and supply chain management on E&M equipment and works (e.g. Fire service, HVAC, Plumbing and drainage, Platform screen door/Automatic Platform Gate, fare collection system etc). Provide in-depth supply market expertise, develop and implement category plans and strategies and achieve category plan targets
- Stakeholder & Demand Management. Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and consolidate demand pipeline, validate and challenge procurement needs / specifications, achieve agreed business objectives / targets and maximise cross-stakeholder commercial synergies
- Value and Performance Delivery. Demonstrate value-for-money achieved through procurement benefits (cost savings and cost avoidance) and other operational or transformational key performance indicators (KPIs) delivered against targets
- Source-to-Contract (S2C). Ideate, develop, plan and execute innovative sourcing and contracting strategies, whilst ensuring on-going compliance to MTR and WTO / GPA requirements while maximising competitive value and costs delivered. Lead the development and execution of sourcing strategies and negotiation plans, through market sounding, supplier pre-qualification, tender strategy planning and implementation, commercial and contract negotiations to award recommendation
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P). Manage post-award order management, supply operations, commercial and contract negotiations, and business stakeholder escalation support
- Supplier Management. Formulate and implement supplier development strategies and engagement plans, lead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) orchestration to drive delivery performance in cost, safety, quality, assurance of supply, innovation and sustainability. Foster continuous improvement and explore joint-initiatives and partnership opportunities
- Supply Chain Risk Management. Proactively identify and manage supply chain risks, perform comprehensive analysis and assessments, and recommend / implement effective controls and mitigation measures. Develop strategies to address business and operational risks (including supply availability, reliability, sanctions and compliance/audits) and emerging threats
- ESG/Sustainability. Integrate ESG goals into category plans and engage suppliers to foster the development of relevant ESG capabilities and initiatives delivered to MTR
- Transformation. Contribute thought leadership and drive business value by implementing innovative procurement approaches, leading practices and new ways of working. Be a champion and role model supporting the implementation of P&SC 2.0 transformation initiatives. Develop the category team through capability uplift and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- University Degree holder in Business, Procurement and Supply Chain, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other relevant field of study. Masters' degree is an advantage
- A minimum of 8 years' experience in procurement & supply chain roles, of which at least 2 years should be at managerial / senior supervisory level
- Prior procurement experience in E&M categories preferred, and with working knowledge of diverse contracting models and post-award commercial/contract management including claims handling is an advantage
- Knowledge of transportation/rail or properties industries an advantage
- Strong business acumen and professional integrity with good analytical, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills for effective engagement with stakeholders and internal customers
- Strong leadership and change management skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at different levels of seniority
- Excellent command of written and spoken English & Cantonese, proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a
Supply Chain Coordinator or Manager
, depending on your experience and qualifications. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end supply chain processes, from procurement and logistics to inventory management and distribution. Your expertise will ensure the smooth and cost-effective flow of our premium products, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional quality to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage import procedures, including customs clearance, documentation, and compliance with Hong Kong and international regulations.
- Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners to optimize shipping routes, reduce costs, and minimize transit times.
- Handle supplier negotiations, purchase orders, and payment processing as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and implement strategies to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Analyze supply chain data (e.g., costs, lead times, performance metrics) to identify areas for improvement and drive efficiency.
- Train and manage 2 interns under direct supervision.
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience
: 2–3 years in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or the food industry. Experience with perishable goods (e.g., dairy, gourmet foods) is a plus. - Skills:
-Highly rigorous, organized, and independent, with strong problem-solving abilities.
-Proficiency in numerical analysis and data-driven decision-making (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
-Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in French and English (mandatory).
- Attributes:
Adaptable, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of Hong Kong import regulations and trade practices is advantageous.
