- Negotiating, reviewing and drafting investment management/distribution agreements
- Fund formation including setting up Hong Kong domiciled SFC authorised funds and China QDLP funds
To qualify, you should have the following qualifications and experience:
- 5-10 years PQE gained with the funds practice of a leading international law firm, in-house experience with an investment management/fund house would be ideal
- Experienced with legal and regulatory matters relating to asset managers in the APAC region including in negotiating investment management and distribution agreements and fund formation
- Experience of setting up HK domiciled SFC-authorised funds and China QDLP funds is preferred

Requirements

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Manager, Portfolio Management, reporting to Head of Portfolio Management and Payment
Principal responsibilities
- Formulate effective portfolio management and pricing strategies to drive business targets, increase market share, reduce bad costs, develop new product/journey and improve customer experience
- Set the strategic direction for the business in terms of ambition, products, business development, segments and partners
- Establish goals and implementation of strategies to drive acquisition, market share, growth, profit, operational efficiency and best-in-class customer experience.
- Manage the Personal Loan and Card Loan P&L with due consideration on RWA effectiveness, minimizes losses from bad debts and fraud
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities arising from the evolving market landscape in Unsecured Lending industry, including the use of AI, alternative data source (open banking) and partnerships with other lines of business and external parties
- Keep up to speed to key trends, innovations and capabilities in the marketplace and understand the corresponding impact on the Bank
- Liaise with distribution channels, credit services, operations and underwriting to provide customized business solutions and support to build win-win relationships
- Drive a culture of high performance and empowerment through effective people management activities. Foster a diverse, inclusive and open environment and drive teamwork and collaboration within and outside of the team
- Ensure Product governance and compliance to regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Degree holder or above in Business Administration, Economics and related disciplines
- Proven experience in Banking, Cards, Lending products development and portfolio management
- Strong acumen in Unsecured Lending business dynamics with solid experience in managing and growing a sizable portfolio
- Strong commercial judgment with a proven track record of bringing new customer solutions and innovations to generate portfolio growth
- Proven experience in product management
- Sound awareness and knowledge about the use of data analytics and customer behavior
- Highly motivated, fast-paced, and possession of strong interpersonal, as well as written and verbal communication skills
- Experience to lead a team of professionals
- Proficiency in Chinese and English
- Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
