Join DayOne – Shaping the Future of Data Infrastructure

DayOne is a global leader in the development and operation of high-performance data centers. As one of the fastest-growing companies in the industry, we've built a robust presence across Asia and Europe — and we're just getting started.

As we expand into new international markets, we're looking for talented, driven individuals to join us on this exciting journey. This is more than a job — it's an opportunity to be a key contributor to our dynamic team and help shape the future of global data infrastructure.

If you're passionate about innovation, technology, and growth, we invite you to be part of DayOne's next chapter.

Role Overview

We are seeking a high-performing individual to join the Office of the Chairman, supporting global strategy, investment, and partnership initiatives that are shaping DayOne's expansion and leadership in the AI infrastructure ecosystem.

This is a rare opportunity to work directly with senior leadership — including the Chairman, VP of Strategy & Investment, and Board members — on cross-border transactions, strategic partnerships, and high-value growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of analytical rigour, commercial intuition, and executional excellence, with experience across investment banking, private equity, real estate, or corporate development.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Financial Analysis

  • Build, own, and maintain detailed financial models to support new investments, M&A, and partnership opportunities.
  • Perform valuation, sensitivity, and returns analysis to inform executive decisions.
  • Prepare high-impact investment memos and board materials articulating deal rationale and strategic fit.

Investment Execution & Structuring

  • Support end-to-end transaction execution — including due diligence, financial analysis, documentation, and closing.
  • Collaborate with internal finance, legal, and technical teams on LOIs, MOUs, term sheets, NDAs, and joint venture agreements.
  • Coordinate external advisors (banks, consultants, legal counsel) to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

Market & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct deep-dive research on global data center, AI, and digital infrastructure trends to shape investment theses.
  • Build and maintain benchmarking tools and competitor maps to support strategic recommendations.
  • Translate complex industry data into clear, actionable insights for leadership.

Strategic Projects & Stakeholder Management

  • Partner with senior executives on strategic initiatives spanning fundraising, regional expansion, and capital deployment.
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across finance, development, operations, and regional teams.
  • Deliver concise, visually compelling presentations to senior management, investors, and strategic partners.

Governance & Confidentiality

  • Uphold the highest levels of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive company and partner information.
  • Ensure analytical accuracy, data integrity, and quality of outputs in all deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field from a leading university; MBA or CFA preferred.
  • 4–7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate, or corporate strategy/development.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel financial modelling and PowerPoint / presentation design.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with strong attention to detail and output quality.
  • Strong command of written and spoken English; additional Asian or European languages an advantage.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects under pressure and tight timelines.
  • Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, commercial acumen, and a strong sense of ownership.
  • Comfortable operating in an international, high-growth, and fast-paced environment, working directly with senior stakeholders.

What You'll Gain

  • Exposure to C-suite decision-making and board-level strategic discussions.
  • Experience across global markets, cross-border transactions, and multi-sector investment opportunities.
  • Opportunity to influence AI infrastructure strategy at one of the fastest-growing data center companies globally.
  • A culture of performance, curiosity, and collaboration — where your impact is tangible from Day One.

DayOne is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
