**Applications Engineer/System Analyst**
We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Applications Engineer to join our dynamic team. Reporting to Asia Pacific IT Manager, Global Logistics Application, this is a full stack developer role which offers exciting opportunity to demonstrate technical skills to support business strategy and the IT Applications within Arrow's facilities in Asia Pacific. This role will be based in our ATL office in Kwai Chung. The candidate will have great exposure working with stakeholders in the Americas, EMEA, and Asia Pacific regions.
**What You'll Be Doing**
+ Develop browser-based application UI's using JavaScript and ReactJS.
+ Passionate about application development with a history of working with enterprise technologies, and leading the development effort, but also comfortable working with the development team within the code base.
+ Working with a global team to design and develop warehouse solutions.
+ Help maintain code quality and automation.
+ Ready to get hands on if needed. The candidate should have a broad level of skills in architecting solutions including mobile, web, integration middleware, database & data warehouse, front-end technology & framework, security, and cloud infrastructure.
+ Ability to work in an environment of competing and alternating priorities with constant focus.
**What We Are Looking For**
+ Typically requires 1-2 years of related experience with a degree or equivalent work experience. Less experience will be considered.
+ Candidates should have a good understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, JSON, XML, SQL preferably PL/SQL.
+ 1 Years+ working experience with the object-oriented JavaScript pattern using ReactJS or developing Java / Java Spring / JPA with strong Java background and mastery of design patterns to help engineers apply best practices.
+ Closely work with Application Architects to ensure product requirements and acceptance criteria are well understood and ensure that the delivered product is in line with the product requirements.
+ Familiar working in an IDE such as IntelliJ or VS Code.
+ Experience with version control systems, preferably bitbucket.
+ Experience with build and deployments with FlexDeploy or Jenkins.
+ Scope, analyze, design, test, debug and implement complex applications.
+ Experience in developing Android Kotlin native mobile development framework is a plus.
+ Good English communication is a must and be able to work in overseas time zone occasionally.

The Manager (SAP) of the Applications Development team is responsible for evaluating and planning SAP-related development projects to provide guidance and standards for team members in SuccessFactors development and integrations, ABAP programming on SAP ECC, as well as design, testing, and debugging related to the implementation and enhancement of SAP ECC and SuccessFactors.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop processes and standards for SAP-related development services (ECC and SuccessFactors).
- Develop policies and coding standards for SAP development projects and distributed teams.
- Collaborate with management to recommend SAP development initiatives that support business needs.
- Plan and manage team resources to deliver maximum value aligned with company direction, business needs, and technical professionalism.
- Estimate and secure management support for timelines, budgets, and resources required for SAP development functions.
- Review and approve architecture design and implementation approaches for application development projects (focused on ECC or SuccessFactors).
- Lead the team to work effectively in alignment with company and departmental strategies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- 8+ years of development experience, including at least 3+ years in team management, particularly in SAP-related teams.
- Strong experience and skills in either ABAP programming or SuccessFactors integrations and reports.
- Experience with SAP ECC and working knowledge of HR, FI, CO, and MM modules.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori is preferred.
- Solid experience in SAP SuccessFactors projects is a significant plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to communicate in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a plus.

As a System Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of digital product initiatives. You will ensure requirements are effectively captured, documented, and prioritised in alignment with product strategy. You will act as a liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and end-users, driving the development, enhancement, testing, and delivery of digital products within an Agile framework.
Job Description
- Oversee Enterprise Business Applications implementation and operation across CRM, DMS and RPA platforms
- Identify user needs and implement application systems to ensure long-term success
- Coordinate and supervise IT vendors on system implementation and day to day support
- Liaise with other application supports and external vendors to perform day to day production support
- Provide documentation of all processes and training as needed
- Conduct regular reviews of systems and on efficiencies and improvement areas
- Keep abreast of the latest technologies and technical developments
- University degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields
- At least 5 years of work experience in system design, development and system implementation, preferably under agile methodology
- Strong computer, hardware and software skills
- Experience in CRM, DMS, RPA and Web application implementation
- Experience in supporting applications running on Windows and Linux platforms
- Technology-focused with good capacity to evaluate and learn new technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Need to work outside normal office hours as and when required
