Responsibilities
- Process mapping, analysis of as-is and to-be processes, and gap assessments
- Understand and explain complex business processes, systems and tools with a specific focus on upstream/downstream impact; understands the relationship between multiple functions and/or tools
- Liaise among users and the technical developers to ensure business requirements are well defined and properly implemented
- Formulate full set of test plans including test cases, SIT / UAT plans and supporting the preparation of user manual and system migration strategies
- Proactively manage all the potential risks on projects and recommend mitigating measures if required
- Degree holder in Computer Science or related disciplines
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in system development and implementation, with at least 2 years in business analysis or system analysis role, prior exposure in credit / risk management systems is preferred
- Solid experience in handling tasks and documentation in the full SDLC of system development and implementation
- Hands on experience in documentation of business requirement, functional specification, SIT, UAT and etc; with strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skill
- Proactive, able to work independently and under pressure
- Well-versed written and verbal English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)

IT Manager in the LKS Faculty of Medicine (Ref.: 532452). The position is available as soon as possible, on a two-year fixed-term basis with contract-end gratuity and University contributions to a retirement benefits scheme, totaling up to 10% of basic salary. The appointment is subject to renewal based on funding and performance.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields. Certifications such as PMP are highly desirable. A minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience is required, including at least 3 years in leadership overseeing IT infrastructure, campus development projects, or large-scale technical implementations, with experience managing teams of 10+ members. Experience in cross-functional collaboration with facilities management, architects, and external contractors is essential. Strong leadership, strategic planning, stakeholder management, vendor negotiation skills, proficiency in budgeting, procurement, and fluency in English and Chinese are required.
The successful candidate will lead two critical IT domains for the Faculty of Medicine, overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure supporting campus development, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and collaboration with stakeholders. Responsibilities also include managing the IT Service Desk, optimizing incident and request handling processes, developing procurement strategies, managing tendering processes, and identifying technical risks with mitigation strategies.
