Your Role

We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join the Country Field Sales team. The role boasts variety with a key focus on new business development and account management.

In this role, as a Technogym salesperson, you should be hungry, highly professional, industry credible and collaborative. You will develop and maintain strong relationships and manage a large portfolio of products, services and solutions.

Your Impact

  • Ensure that local sales, profitability and cash flow targets are achieved
  • Develop business opportunities and exploit market potential
  • Generate leads, profile customers, plan activities and update the CRM
  • Increase customer satisfaction
  • Guarantee adequate market feedback on segment trends
  • Maintain and develop existing relationships and seek new opportunities
  • Manage the market and carry out an appropriate number of customer/prospect visits in line with company sales code


About You

Ideally, you are passionate about working out, enthusiastic and proactive, while also down-to-earth and ethical. You have a positive and proactive mindset, strong organizational skills and are used to working in a fast-paced environment.

What You Should Bring

  • At least 3 years’ sales experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar role
  • Degree in Business Administration, Sales or a relevant field
  • Experience in managing complex deals and selling solutions
  • Excellent consulting sales approach and negotiation skills
  • Solid experience with CRM software. Knowledge of Salesforce would be a plus
  • Result-driven approach
  • Excellent listening, communications and presentation abilities

Your Role

Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Executive is required to source new customers and business contacts, demonstrate the technical features of our products, drive sales, and maintain strong customer relations; to monitor the operating processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and maintain in good quality standard.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Sales Account Manager on performance of the sales and project follow up;
  • Explore new business opportunities, establish & maintain excellent relationships with clients;
  • Initiate and execute the sales action plan directed by supervisors in order to achieve the projected sales targets;
  • Liaise with clients and site personnel to obtain specification or direct sales of company's products and services;
  • Ensuring all projects or orders are of high-quality standard and maintaining image of the company;
  • Monitoring project progress from initial negotiation for specification to after sales follow up;
  • Preparation for all sales & warranty documentation and maintain the completed and updated customer related records;
  • Conducting service/product review to collect the customer satisfaction and feedback;
  • Supporting an effective implementation and enhancement of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) i.e. ISO operations; and
  • Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned if necessary

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Sales & Marketing, with solid experience in project management preferable;
  • Fluent spoken & written skills in English & Cantonese;
  • Good team player with strong initiative & able to work under pressure;
  • Self-motivated, willingness to learn & hard-working;
  • Immediate available or short notice is highly preferred
  • Possess existing network with contractors, consultants and developers is highly preferred; candidates with relevant background will be considered as Senior Technical Sales Executive;
  • Fresh graduates with interest in sales & marketing will be considered, training will be provided

Benefits

  • Basic Salary: negotiable depending on existing salary and relevant experience
  • Guaranteed 13th month payment and Quarterly discretionary performance bonus (after 6 months' service, normally 1-1.5 month per quarter)
  • Annual Leave: 12 days (increased by years of service to maximum 17 days)
  • Medical insurance plan (including annual bodycheck / dental benefit) / covered Dependents
  • Other expenses reimbursement, e.g. Travel $3,000 / Entertainment
  • Training allowance $5,000/year after 6 months' service

  • Provide exceptional pre-sales and post-sales technical support and consultation to clients, addressing inquiries and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed-upon sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and new scientific advancements relevant to our product lines (e.g., disease modelling, drug discovery, cell and gene therapy, tissue engineering).
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including marketing and logistics, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecast, and contribute to sales strategy development.
  • Represent LAB-A-PORTER at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a Life Sciences discipline (e.g., Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, or related field).
  • Strong understanding of research laboratory techniques and workflows, particularly in areas such as cell culture, molecular biology, immunology, or related fields.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Demonstrated ability to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and close sales.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Role Overview

Given our exciting and progressive growth plans, we are looking for an exceptional Account Manager to come and join our global business.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, Singapore, you will be accountable for building relationships and driving monetisation of the Fresha platform.

Commercial Growth

  • Engagement - Accountable for meeting key performance indicators on monetisation and revenue growth by proactively engaging with and educating our Partners on the value of the Fresha platform.
  • Sales Cycle - Proactively introduce, educate and convert Partners on to Fresha’s payments solution.
  • Market Trends - Optimise listing content and availability competitiveness on the marketplace to maximise conversions.

Relationship Building

  • Partnering - Have a pool of Partner accounts serving as a dedicated advisor for all your Partners assisting them on their journey to product adoption.
  • Advisor - Advising Partners on suitable product selection based on their needs and specifications.
  • Business Partnering - Ensure a strong Partner Experience through building relationships by attending video meetings with your pool of Partners and effectively communicating the Fresha features and benefits.
  • Relationships - Build key internal relationships with our Sales and Onboarding teams to ensure smooth transition and handover of Partners through the Partner journey.
  • Collaboration - Collaborate with our Product teams to provide important product feedback to help enhance future releases.
  • Persuasion - Use consultative sales techniques to understand customer needs and requirements and have the ability to upsell and cross-sell the Fresha Platform.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience - 3+ Years experience in effectively delivering commercial outcomes from a previous Account Management role
  • Adaptability - Shown to be commercially motivated with an ability to adapt and achieve targets
  • Analytics - Proven experience in using and analysing data and reporting effectively to improve commercial outcomes
  • Curiosity - Naturally proactive and inquisitive, with a desire to consistently learn and improve
  • Teleprospecting - Previous experience in an outbound call environment or a related sales position preferred
  • Communication - Excellent and proven written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Innovative - Creative thinking and problem-solving mindset
  • Relationship Building - You are a true hunter and relationship builder
  • Team Player - Happy to roll sleeves up and assist the team when required
  • Initiative - Ability to self-starter with a proactive approach
