We are currently seeking an
Execution Trader
to join our Investment and Operations team.

Job Responsibilities:

· Execute trades across a diverse range of asset classes, including listed and OTC securities (equities, equity derivatives, bonds, convertibles, options, futures, and FX swaps).

· Manage algorithmic trading strategies for listed equities across multiple brokers and jurisdictions, optimizing execution performance and minimizing costs.

· Communicate effectively with execution brokers to source liquidity in lit and dark pool venues, and ensuring best execution for OTC instruments in compliance with regulatory standards.

· Manage and maintain the order book for multiple Funds.

· Monitor market conditions and execution risks, providing real-time adjustments to trading strategies as needed.

· Provide daily updates to the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and Electronic Trading Responsible Officer, delivering market insights, liquidity updates, and execution strategy for key portfolio positions.

· Collaborate with the Operations Team to manage excess margin, optimize collateral, and assess the impact of trading strategies on settlement and clearing processes.

· Uphold the highest ethical standards and ensure compliance with relevant regulations in all trading activities.

Skills and Preferred Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree or higher in a finance or quantitative field (e.g., engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, finance, economics, or related disciplines).

· Existing Hong Kong SFC License (preferably for Type 9 -Asset Management) or an equivalent qualification from a reputable jurisdiction.

· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on execution trading and algorithmic trading.

· Proven experience with trading platforms and order management systems (e.g., Bloomberg, TORA, Enfusion, etc.).

· Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to deliver accurate results in high-pressure environments.

· Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively in a dynamic trading environment.

· Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards in all trading activities and decision-making.

· Knowledge of a programming language (JS, Python, R) and SQL is advantageous.

· Fluency in English required. Proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin, Japanese or other Asian languages is an advantage.
