- Work in an in-house laboratory to perform quality inspections and testing of electronic components according to procedures and standards
- Use naked eyes, microscopes and inspection tools to perform visual inspection and ensure component matches manufacturer’s specifications
- Use alcohol swipes, chemical tests or scrape tests to verify that product have not been blacktopped
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments, handle chemicals and perform testing such as, but not limited to, XRF, X-RAY, Microscopy, Decapsulation, Solderability, Curve Tracing and C-SAM tests
- Utilize our proprietary system to document inspection observations, including but not limited to test results
- Prepare test reports in a timely manner and comply with testing schedules
- Determine discrepancies or report “red flags” that indicate an inspected part is suspected
- Support laboratory operations compliant to ISO 17025 standard and fulfil customers’ requirements
- Communicate with appropriate individuals during daily operations and report abnormal incidents to management
- Handle ad hoc assignments and work over-time when required
Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above, preferably in manufacturing, electronics or testing-related disciplines
- Experience or knowledge in component or product inspection, testing, component distribution or counterfeit detection will be an advantage
- Solid written and oral communication skills are a must
- Multi-tasking and organizational skills are required
- Capability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to learn quickly and strong attention to detail
