Join our team as a Lab/Technical Assistant/Officer to support laboratory operations, equipment maintenance, and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will assist in managing lab equipment, coordinating procurement, and ensuring smooth daily operations while adhering to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage the operation and routine maintenance of equipment and inventory;
- Coordinate maintenance of office and laboratory equipment;
- Coordinate equipment acquisition process, involve with procurement process and liaise with suppliers;
- Assist to develop standard operating procedures, technical notes, guidelines and flow charts;
- Provide assistance in the study of technical feasibility for addition & alternations works and carry out related site inspection;

- Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Centre Director or his/her delegates
- Bachelor's degree holder or above in all disciplines;
- 1-2 years in lab operation and equipment management or experience in biomedical engineering research is preferred;
- Fresh graduates are welcome, previous administration or laboratory maintenance experience is an advantage and will be considered as an assistant role;
- Competency in MS Office applications;
- Ability to work independently, to work under pressure and overtime; and to set and drive the team to meet project deadlines; and
- Excellent oral communication and written skills in English, with good organizational and analytical abilities and willingness to learn new techniques.
The remuneration package will be highly competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits for full-time appointments include leave, medical insurance and etc. The possibility of re-appointment after the initial contract period will be based on performance evaluation and mutual agreements.
