About The Opportunity

In this role, you will work very closely with leaders across all levels and across the organization, as the trusted advisor, coach and change facilitator. We are looking for a passionate and strategic thinking leadership management expert to join our team and be part of this exciting journey in this frontier industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • As a core member of the Leadership Growth team, you will be responsible for building a leadership community for OKG, enabling organizational capability, and fostering culture, to support full management cycles for OKG business leaders
  • Identify and analyze leadership gaps, strengthen the leadership pipeline in different functions and initiate leadership development plans, and conduct succession planning initiatives
  • Provide objective assessment and identify root causes of teams and organization issues, use a systematic approach to help improve team productivity and organization cohesiveness
  • Conduct leader and organization data analysis, provide valuable insight and solutions to the business in regards to our people & organization health index


What We Look For In You

  • 7+ years of experience working in HR Business Partnering, Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Consulting, preferably in the internet/hi-tech/financial services industry
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced working environment, with open-mindedness to new information and challenges.
  • Logical and structured in problem solving, with a big picture in mind
  • Past experience and credentials in leadership development tools is a plus
  • Excellent spoken and written English (Mandarin is a plus)

  • Strong background in leading HR Business Partnering, Organizational Development, Talent Management, Leadership Development, Consulting, preferably in the internet/hi-tech/financial services industry
  • Prior experience in consulting/supporting Product & Engineering teams
  • Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced working environment, with open-mindedness to new information and challenges.
  • Logical and structured in problem solving, with a big picture in mind
  • Proven ability to understand complex business environments and translate initiatives into business value
  • Past experience and credentials in leadership development tools is a plus

We are supporting a leading insurance firm to look for a Senior Manager, Sales Leadership Training for their Hong Kong office. Here, you will be empowered to reach your full potential while working alongside dynamic colleagues who are experts in the insurance industry. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Initiate and develop sales leadership training strategies to drive agency growth, focusing on increasing active recruiters and young leaders.
  • Implement and monitor agency strategies aimed at enhancing productivity and team development, including High Net Worth business and MCI-focused training.
  • Design and deliver tailored training programs (both in-person and online) to improve advisors' sales and client service competencies.
  • Foster a culture of agency recruitment and develop training specifically targeting IANG and MCI.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through analysis and feedback.
  • Build and mentor a network of trainers to enhance course content and delivery.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Agency Support, Product Teams) to boost agency sales and retain quality talent.
  • Communicate key information and company directions to agency personnel, gathering feedback for informed decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships within agencies for effective management.
  • Ensure accurate monitoring of training logistics, records, and performance reports.

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience in developing, training, and educating sales teams in the financial products sector. Direct sales experience is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, business operations, and agency distribution systems.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and their application in training development.
  • Expertise in basic and advanced sales techniques and curriculum development for training delivery.
  • Proven experience in creating and delivering end-to-end training programs, both face-to-face and online.
  • Experience in sales and leadership training specifically for MCI agents in both Hong Kong and China is highly critical.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English is required.

We are supporting a leading insurance firm to look for a Senior Manager, Sales Leadership Training for their Hong Kong office. Here, you will be empowered to reach your full potential while working alongside dynamic colleagues who are experts in the insurance industry. You'll play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of individuals and communities.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Initiate and develop sales leadership training strategies to drive agency growth, focusing on increasing active recruiters and young leaders.
  • Implement and monitor agency strategies aimed at enhancing productivity and team development, including High Net Worth business and MCI-focused training.
  • Design and deliver tailored training programs (both in-person and online) to improve advisors' sales and client service competencies.
  • Foster a culture of agency recruitment and develop training specifically targeting IANG and MCI.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives through analysis and feedback.
  • Build and mentor a network of trainers to enhance course content and delivery.
  • Collaborate with various departments (e.g., Agency Support, Product Teams) to boost agency sales and retain quality talent.
  • Communicate key information and company directions to agency personnel, gathering feedback for informed decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships within agencies for effective management.
  • Ensure accurate monitoring of training logistics, records, and performance reports.

Successful candidates should possess:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 10 years of management experience in developing, training, and educating sales teams in the financial products sector. Direct sales experience is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, business operations, and agency distribution systems.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and their application in training development.
  • Expertise in basic and advanced sales techniques and curriculum development for training delivery.
  • Proven experience in creating and delivering end-to-end training programs, both face-to-face and online.
  • Experience in sales and leadership training specifically for MCI agents in both Hong Kong and China is highly critical.
  • Fluency in Mandarin, Cantonese and English is required.

About The Role

You will work in a dynamic environment that values cross-functional collaboration.

You will lead a lean team of data engineers, working closely with them and

business stakeholders to design, develop, and improve our data infrastructure.

This include, but is not limited to, suggesting data initiatives that would further

drive data-informed decision-making culture across the organization, and

overseeing the integration of new technologies and initiatives such as data and AI,

or machine learning operations.

Given the compact nature of the team, this role will require a hands-on approach,

balancing strategic leadership with practical implementation. Our current tech

stack reflects a modern, agile approach, utilizing contemporary data solutions that

prioritize flexibility and efficiency. We employ cloud-based data warehousing, ETL

processes with tools like dbt, and implementing data orchestration technologies

with Docker and Dagster. We are continually expanding and improving our toolkit

to further promote a self-service analytics culture and streamline reporting

processes.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

Data Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the business objectives
  • Lead and mentor a team of data professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify data-driven opportunities for business growth

Data Architecture and Governance

  • Design and oversee the implementation of a robust data architecture
  • Establish data governance policies and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Implement data quality measures and best practices

Analytics and Reporting

  • Oversee the development of dashboards, reports, and analytics solutions
  • Drive the adoption of self-service BI tools across the organization
  • Collaborate with business units to translate their needs into actionable insights

Data-Driven Culture

  • Promote data literacy across the organization through training and knowledge sharing
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision making at all levels of the company

  • (proficient) Experience in leading data teams and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • (proficient) Strong understanding of data architecture, warehousing, and BI best practices; Experience in handling large-scale data infrastructure
  • (proficient) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • (fair) Hands-on experience with SQL, Python, and popular BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Looker, Tableau)
  • (Proficient) Knowledge of cloud-based data solutions, AWS preferred
  • (fair) Understanding of data governance and privacy regulations
