What We OfferAs a Senior Sales Executive , you will help grow the Nasdaq Index business in Japan by working with investment product issuers to bring new innovative investment products to market tracking Nasdaq indexes and facilitate investor flows into existing investment products. Your focus will be on working with ETF issuers and other financial market participants throughout Japan to support new product development efforts by licensing existing and newly developed Nasdaq Index concepts. You will lead the strategic direction for how Nasdaq grows its index business revenue in Japan, working with the New Product Team and the Head of Investor Distribution to prioritize and execute new investment product initiatives. You will identify new investment product ideas that resonate in the region and are a strategic fit for Nasdaq and its clients.
As of March 2025, there were 55+ investment products in Japan tracking Nasdaq indexes, with more than US$10 billion in assets under management (AUM).

What You Will Do- Manage existing relationships with Nasdaq Index licensees to maintain business and generate new product opportunities.
- Develop new relationships with Japanese investment product issuers to launch new investment products.
- Attend and support regional industry conference activities.
- Represent Nasdaq Index business at client events and media engagements on industry trends and index strategies in the region.
- Collaborate with the Global Head of Investor Distribution and Nasdaq’s Index Research and Marketing teams to facilitate flows into investment products tracking Nasdaq indexes, supporting revenue growth from Japanese investors.
- Support Nasdaq’s existing index business relationships with the Japanese client base, including operational support and index methodology updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in the Japanese ETF and fund ecosystem.
- Fluent in English and Japanese.
- Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter.
- Experience building and maintaining strategic relationships.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel for business.

Responsibilities:
- To assist Project Managers in the overall planning and execution of local and overseas trade promotional event
- To provide clerical and logistics support for organizing trade promotional projects such as The Hong Kong International Licensing Show and Asian Licensing Conference
- To handle enquiries from event and undertake on-site duties
- To assist in consolidating and updating project data and delegate information
- To liaise and maintain close contact with delegates and potential customers
- To perform administrative duties such as handling reports, filing system and meeting schedules
- University graduate with 1 years of relevant experience in project management and event organizing is preferred ( Fresh graduates who have relevant internship experience or educational background in these areas will also be considered)
- Proactive, self-initiated and very attentive to details
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Fluent in Putonghua
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and Chinese Word-Processing
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Meticulous, creative, with team work spirits and can meet tight deadlines
The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis, renewable subject to operational needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
