Roles:

• Provide full support to sales team in all technical aspects, including designing and proposing lighting products and systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting
• Manage to command full lighting proposal from design to implementation with site supervision
• Coordinate well with internal and external parties all through-out the projects, to ensure smooth running of the whole process
• Liaise with external parties such as developers, architects, interior designers, M&E consultants, contractors and lighting designers, factories and suppliers, etc. to facilitate proper and enough flow of technical information and project schedule requirements
• Able to work individually for the arrangement of on-site meetings or trouble-shooting with relevant parties
• Keep up with the latest technologies and innovation ideas in the lighting industry, as one of the contributions to the company to gain competitive edge

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in engineering disciplines, preferably in electrical and electronics
• Minimum 3 years hands on experience in relevant discipline
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua
• Proficient in AutoCad (2D/ 3D), MicroStation, and MS Office applications
• Experience in latest lighting calculation software preferable
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and presentation skills required
• Proactive and detail-minded
• Able to work under pressure with tight completion requirement
• Applicant with less experience might considered the post of Technical Coordinator

Candidate with more experience will be considered for Senior Lighting Engineer.

We are engaged in the business of exports and as purchasing agents for the European Market in lighting and sundries products. We invite outstanding candidates to join us at our office in Kwai Chung for the following position.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 to 3 years solid experience as merchandiser in the lighting or sundries industries.

Proper education in Electronic/Electric Engineering or related disciplines if applying for the Lighting Position.

Able to handle daily communications with customers and suppliers.

Self-motivated and being able to work under pressure and fast environment.

Good command of English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Responsibilities:

Carrying out product sourcing and preparing quotations to customers.

Participate in buying trips with customers including but not limited to attending trade fairs, factory visits and meetings.

Assisting in new product development for customers.

Sample arrangement, order issuance and modifications, reviewing testing reports, monitoring production status, arranging inspections and reviewing inspection reports.

Handle daily enquiries from customers and suppliers and problem solving.

Shipment arrangement including container consolidations.

Preparing documents for customers' payment.
