This maker role focuses on handling syndication and bilateral loan administration duties, ensuring efficient processing and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage loan transactions and general ledger postings for both syndication and bilateral loans, including drawdowns, rollovers, and repayments.
- Oversee the administration of syndicated loans, fulfilling agency and participant functions.
- Monitor and address issues related to problem loans, including non-performing and rescheduled loans.
- Prepare audit confirmations and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
- Review and validate credit limits in the system for accuracy and adherence to policies.
- Assist in project planning, testing, and implementation related to new loan products and system enhancements.
- Provide administrative support to the loan administration department.
- Collaborate with the head office and finance team on loan-related matters.
- Contribute to CRA and CCRA data reporting and ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in loan administration, with a focus on syndication and bilateral loans.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to drive initiatives and achieve results.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration within the team and across departments.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and highly organized, capable of managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Mandarin.
- Strong competency in MS Office applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee to ensure Outsourcing Service activities of the section are completed as per established procedures and agreed service level, risk controls and standard of quality per bank’s requirements and contract, etc
- Oversee to ensure end to end OSP processes are efficiency and effectively to meet the agreed SLA. Consistently evaluate and assessment for opportunities of process and productivity improvement
- Keep abreast of business developments and banking practices, regulatory guidelines, risk controls and monitor implementation of all activities and projects/initiatives such as business continuity management, operational procedures, policies and guidelines, specific and job related training, contract renewal, change request, system enhancement, etc
- Primary contact point to effectively communicate with internal departments, outsourcing service providers, regional Ops on relevant inquiries, matters or complaints
- Assist the section/department head to develop action plan to improve productivity and make constructive recommendation for procedure/process improvement and application of technology to enhance operational efficiency and minimize operational risk
- Assist section/department head to prepare and to conduct/ present in management and OSP meeting whenever necessary
- Lead, coach and develop team members to achieve the section’s goals and complete their assignments on time
- Adhere, provide guidance and ensure subordinates comply with the rules, guidelines and regulatory requirement of the Bank, HKMA, MAS, etc pertaining to OSP
- University Graduate or above
- At least 7 years of banking operations working experience and/or at least 3 years of outsourcing service provider related working experience
- Conversant and engagement with the OSP requirements and rules
- Good knowledge of Outsourcing Service Provider
- Excellent leadership and management capabilities
- Self-motivated with strong analytical mind and creative thinking
- Strong senses of risk controlling and management
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills and negotiation techniques
- Sound knowledge and understanding of banking and IT Operations and practices
- Good in both written and spoken English
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent PC knowledge and skills

- Strong ability of multi-tasking
- Ability to adapt quickly and working with short deadlines
- Strong knowledge in HKMA requirements in Customer Banking operations and Vendor Management
- Good in both written and spoken English
- Good presentation skills
- Sound knowledge of Outsourcing Service Provider
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills

- Provide guidance and ensure Operation Teams comply with the rules, guidelines and regulatory requirement of the Bank, HKMA, MAS, SFO, etc

In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Principal Responsibilities
- Enhance risk governance within Operations in driving the risk committees or equivalent forum
- Ensure implementation of corporate operational risk policies and standards
- Promote risk & control awareness. Share operational risk best practices within the Operations via Newsletter and Control & Compliance Forum.
- Ensure timely completion of quality risk and compliance self-assessment (RCSA) and provide guidance on the identification / assessment of risks and controls. Ensure proper issues and action plans arising from the RCSA are tracked to completion
- Facilitate the 1st line user of CBGO to monitor the GLAO and to ensure all breaks and issues are rectified timely
- Monitor timely reporting/escalating of risk events/significant incidents and perform action tracking to ensure timely issue resolution
- Review and validate risk events reported for factual accuracy, proper categorization of event, cause, effect, and ensure that proper action plans are established to correct and prevent event from recurring.
- Perform proactive preventive measures and action plan for CBGO users to address potential risk issues.
- Supervise staff to monitor and identify potential risks/gaps in processes, review controls for new processes and initiatives, and conduct detailed assessments where required.
- Enhance the policies and procedures in accordance to the latest regulatory requirements and change of internal workflow and processes.
- Coordinate and review regulatory reporting, internal and external audits upon submission from CBGO users.
- Assist and support the Unit Operational Risk Manager (UORM) to evaluate potential issues, if any, with the proposed remediation action, and communicate with the RMG

- Degree holder with related disciplines
- Minimum of 5 - 10 years of experience in banking industries, with exposure in control, compliance, audit/ risk management or relevant experience and familiar with SFC and the HKMA regulatory requirements.
- Strong in risk management and experienced in regulatory compliance
- Strong ability of multi-tasking
- Ability to adapt quickly and working with short deadlines
- Strong knowledge in HKMA requirements in Customer Banking operations and Vendor Management
- Good in both written and spoken English
- Good presentation skills
- Sound knowledge of Outsourcing Service Provider
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee to ensure Outsourcing Service activities of the section are completed as per established procedures and agreed service level, risk controls and standard of quality per bank’s requirements and contract, etc
- Oversee to ensure end to end OSP processes are efficiency and effectively to meet the agreed SLA. Consistently evaluate and assessment for opportunities of process and productivity improvement
- Keep abreast of business developments and banking practices, regulatory guidelines, risk controls and monitor implementation of all activities and projects/initiatives such as business continuity management, operational procedures, policies and guidelines, specific and job related training, contract renewal, change request, system enhancement, etc
- Primary contact point to effectively communicate with internal departments, outsourcing service providers, regional Ops on relevant inquiries, matters or complaints
- Assist the section/department head to develop action plan to improve productivity and make constructive recommendation for procedure/process improvement and application of technology to enhance operational efficiency and minimize operational risk
- Assist section/department head to prepare and to conduct/ present in management and OSP meeting whenever necessary
- Lead, coach and develop team members to achieve the section’s goals and complete their assignments on time
- Adhere, provide guidance and ensure subordinates comply with the rules, guidelines and regulatory requirement of the Bank, HKMA, MAS, etc pertaining to OSP
- University Graduate or above
- At least 7 years of banking operations working experience and/or at least 3 years of outsourcing service provider related working experience
- Conversant and engagement with the OSP requirements and rules
- Good knowledge of Outsourcing Service Provider
- Excellent leadership and management capabilities
- Self-motivated with strong analytical mind and creative thinking
- Strong senses of risk controlling and management
- Sound interpersonal and communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills and negotiation techniques
- Sound knowledge and understanding of banking and IT Operations and practices
- Good in both written and spoken English
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent PC knowledge and skills
