About the Job
We are looking for a highly experienced and strategic Supply Chain Head to lead the procurement and supply planning functions for our manufacturing operations. This pivotal role will oversee the entire supply chain—from raw material sourcing to demand planning, and product development.
You'll play a key role in aligning supply and demand, driving cost efficiencies, and partnering with cross-functional departments such as Production and Commercial teams to ensure optimal operations and savings.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and manage the supply chain function from raw material sourcing, procurement and demand supply planning.
- Source raw materials and work closely with product development teams to support new product launches.
- Develop and execute demand and supply planning strategies that strike a balance between availability and cost efficiency.
- Negotiate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to drive double-digit cost savings (as per strategic goals).
- Present cost-saving initiatives and performance outcomes to leadership using data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with Commercial and Production teams to manage procurement needs and resolve any operational conflicts.
- Mentor and manage a team of 10 across Hong Kong and Guangzhou.
Requirements
Who We're Looking For
- Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or sourcing within the raw material, supplement, food, pharmaceutical, or FMCG industries.
- Proven track record in demand and supply planning, cost savings, and stakeholder management.
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills; able to balance supply and demand needs effectively.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and coordinating with international suppliers.
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate cost-saving metrics and supply chain performance.
- Fluent in English; Cantonese/Mandarin is a plus.
