Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning, and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses to help the bank make sound business decisions, including product development and customer profitability. Our services also encompass capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory.

Responsibilities

  1. Implement comprehensive financial planning and management reporting processes for DBS HK / business units, including month-end actual financial book closing and annual budgeting.
  2. Prepare and analyze HK financial data and performance indicators to identify improvement areas and recommend actionable strategies to stakeholders.
  3. Produce quarter-end financial reports and presentations for board meetings and local senior management meetings.
  4. Oversee business units' controllership functions, including general ledger posting, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
  5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support effective financial decision-making and resource allocation.
  6. Engage effectively with key business stakeholders regarding financials.
  7. Utilize visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik Sense for financial performance tracking.
  8. Prepare cost management reports, including cost allocation and variance explanations.
  9. Collaborate with risk management on allowances.
  10. Support central finance functions, including ICAAP and stress testing.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting and Finance.
  • 8-10 years of relevant management reporting experience within financial institutions.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, or FRM are highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of financial software and visualization tools like Hyperion, GL systems, Tableau, and Qlik Sense.
  • Extensive experience in financial planning and analytics in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate data into insights.
