Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of a comprehensive
    risk management system
    tailored for digital assets (spot, futures, and options).
  • Manage and mentor a small team of engineers, ensuring delivery of high-quality and scalable code.
  • Collaborate closely with trading, risk, and compliance teams to define system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Architect and implement real-time risk monitoring, exposure tracking, and limit management modules.

  • Stay updated on industry trends in risk technology, digital assets, and financial markets.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience
    in software development, with at least 3+ years in a leadership or team lead role.
  • Proven track record in designing and building
    risk systems, trading systems, or financial infrastructure
    (experience with crypto, FX, or equities strongly preferred).
  • Strong programming background (C++/Java/Python or similar) and understanding of
    system architecture and real-time data processing
    .
  • Hands-on experience leading small engineering teams and delivering mission-critical systems.
  • Knowledge of derivatives, margining, and portfolio risk frameworks is a strong advantage.
  • Fluency in Mandarin is required; English proficiency is also necessary for cross-border collaboration.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

Job Duties:

We are looking for a dynamic and passionate individual to join us in the Risk Management System application team. The incumbent will have the opportunity to develop and work with new technology. Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain models for option pricing, volatility calibration, margin calculation and other risk management tools.
  • Carry out duties in system development life cycle, including effort estimation, collecting user requirements, system design, programming, functional and technical testing and production migration, in accordance with the IT development standards and guidelines, and company-wide policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with risk managers, and other stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of models and tools to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting issues related to quantitative models and tools.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, IT Security, compliance team, to ensure the security and compliance of the applications.
  • Undertake assignments and projects as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 7 years' system development experience, preferably in financial services industry.
  • Solid experience in application design and development in Java, C++, Python, Linux platform.
  • Experience with distributed computing framework, MicroServices, containerized applications, Cloud technology.
  • Familiarity with object storage, databases, noSQL and data manipulation tools for handling and analyzing large datasets
  • Understanding of quantitative finance concepts, including derivatives pricing, risk management, and portfolio optimization is a definite advantage.
  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English. The ability to communicate in Putonghua is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and resolve technical issues for Windows Active Directory, Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Active Directory Certificate Services (ADCS), Identity Management system, and File and Print system in virtualized environment
  • Coordinate and supervise IT vendors for system implementation, support and maintenance

Requirements
  • University degree in information technology, computer engineering or related fields
