Job Summary:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Data Business department and play a role to deliver data related initiatives. Platform Solutions team is responsible for planning and delivering solutions that align with the business and the exchange.

Job Duties:

The successful applicant will join the Data Business Department and support the team in platform development and project management. In this role, a good blend of business and technical expertise is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business users to understand business requirements and identify necessary technological enhancements.
  • Conduct business and technical analysis from a business and technical perspective. Evaluate and validate the possible solution into production.
  • Gather requirements by understanding the business rationale and document requirements.
  • Participate in the preparation and execution of UAT testing, test planning, test cases, training materials, and other relevant documentation.
  • Project manage projects, tracking progress and risks against scope, schedule, and costs, in coordination with business and IT departments.
  • Provide end-to-end project management for the business initiative and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within the budget and scope.
  • Prepare and coordinate project proposals, including the business justification, execution plan, financial projection, risk factors, and mitigation, to support the internal committee and board approval process.
  • Develop and maintain all project documentation and artifacts throughout different project phases.
  • Perform risk management analysis, identify and escalate any foreseeable project risks on a timely basis, and provide resolution.
  • Collaborate across teams on the execution of market data projects, identify new business opportunities, and drive departmental business planning.
  • Assist in analyzing market data industry and market trends to support the business strategy.

Requirements:

  • Degree in IS/ Finance / Business
  • 10+ years of working experience as Business Analyst/Project manager, preferably gained from Banking /Brokerage / FinTech industry. Candidate with less experience will be considered as the AVP.
  • Good understanding of financial products, trading lifecycle, database and system architecture
  • Experience in Business analysis and working with business and IT stakeholders
  • Excellent Project management skills with proven track record working across full life cycle of a project
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter and fast learner, with an innovative mindset
  • Proficiency in both written/spoken English and Cantonese. Mandarin is a plus.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to devise holistic sales and business strategies to grow the insurance business for the various channels and monitor their effectiveness in achieving Insurance AOP targets
  • Design and revamp customer and product propositions to meet customer's demand and achieve the strategic business goals
  • Monitor market data and develop market share analysis to understand our strengths and challenges
  • Responsible for Providing meaningful report and financial analysis to senior management
  • Perform analytical work of business growth opportunities including information gathering, report writing and feedback communication


Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance or related discipline
  • Proven experience in the Sales Strategy, Analytics and Planning, preferably with exposure to the banking industry
  • Details oriented with creative mindset, Self-motivated with positive attitude to work independently
  • Strong business acumen and marketing sense, with good communication, analytical and project management skills as well as sound knowledge of application software
  • Excellent ability to gather data, visualize, connect the dots and storytelling
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes

Job Summary:
The Post Trade team at HKEX is committed to advancing market infrastructure, post trade processes, systems, and policies. We are in search of a seasoned leader with a background in financial markets, strategic acumen, and strong communication skills to spearhead our initiatives.
Job Duties:
Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Development: Lead and oversee initiatives to refine market structures, uphold market integrity and facilitate post trade processing.
  • Market Analysis: Assess the evolving global market landscape, anticipate regulatory shifts, and craft strategies to meet the dynamic needs of market participants.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and nurture relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including IT teams, Clearing Participants, regulators, and industry bodies, ensuring seamless communication, feedback, and collaboration.
  • Project Management: Drive project planning, budgeting, and execution, ensuring adherence to timelines, established processes, and accountability across divisions.
Requirements:
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Social Science, Journalism or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional experience with a focus on financial markets. Candidates with a background in finance, operations, consulting with strong analytical, presentation and communication skills
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
    • Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of Chinese and Putonghua is beneficial.
    • Strong presentation and lobbying skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • Attributes: Proactive, meticulous, and adept at building effective relationships across various stakeholders.
