About Our ClientThe main purpose of the role is to lead requirements definition for change deliveries across all covered products. SME knowledge will be used to propose and execute process efficiency leveraging metrics to help identify opportunities with strong business cases. Operational process re-design will also be required to ensure optimal control standards across products and processes supported. Adapting to industry change is necessary — including scoping to determine cross-functional impact and defining operations-specific requirements for successful implementation.
The role requires a strong understanding of Fixed Income, Equity, and Secured Financing trade flow and support activities such as payment processing, collateral management, securities settlements, and asset servicing. This is to support system enhancements, industry change initiatives, and efficiency improvements.
The role involves active management and understanding of the day-to-day processes, interactions, and relationships managed by the wider Operations team, with ongoing development of ideas and improvements. A detailed understanding of the front-to-back process is essential to address change driven by internal and external stakeholders in line with control standards.

- Ability to resolve issues during delivery and communicate effectively with stakeholders and tech teams.
- Ability to work under pressure both independently and in a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of Murex & Gloss platforms (preferred).
- Understanding of Vanilla Interest Rate products.
- Proven track record of ownership and delivery of Operations tasks.

To support the Finance Operations Manager in regard to the Hong Kong and Macau specific Accounts Payable functions and Control of Expenses for the Company. The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage Accounts Payable, oversee the operations of the outsourced Accounts Payable Centre (CBS), undertake Expense Variance Analysis and to provide support to the business departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Overview the SSU team to ensure all Hong Kong and Macau payables are up to date and the corresponding entries in PeopleSoft are entered in a timely.
2. Ensure all Premium Taxes and Levies returns are completed within required deadlines.
3. Liaising with group businesses to agree, reconcile and settle intercompany balances.
4. Ownership of the month end closing processes including ensuring expenses are appropriately managed and adjusted for changes in business conditions.
5. Ensure key control reconciliations such as intercompany, bank and other key accounts are reconciled on a timely basis and outstanding issues are investigated and resolved.
6. Supporting other members in the Finance department in meeting their respective objectives by providing appropriate operational support.
7. Ensure participation and completion of any relevant finance specific projects and programs.
8. Supporting other business departments in meeting their respective objectives by providing appropriate finance functional support.
Requirements:
- Results oriented, self-motivated, high level of personal organization with the ability to manage time effectively to achieve the various deadlines.
- Good analytical & communication skills and attention to detail is essential.
- Bachelor of Commerce/Accountancy degree/Accounting related Technical Certificate or close to completion
- 4 years or more work experience

To support the Finance Operations Manager in regard to the Hong Kong and Macau specific Accounts Payable functions and Control of Expenses for the Company. The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage Accounts Payable, oversee the operations of the outsourced Accounts Payable Centre (CBS), undertake Expense Variance Analysis and to provide support to the business departments.
Responsibilities:
1. Overview the SSU team to ensure all Hong Kong and Macau payables are up to date and the corresponding entries in PeopleSoft are entered in a timely.
2. Ensure all Premium Taxes and Levies returns are completed within required deadlines.
3. Liaising with group businesses to agree, reconcile and settle intercompany balances.
4. Ownership of the month end closing processes including ensuring expenses are appropriately managed and adjusted for changes in business conditions.
5. Ensure key control reconciliations such as intercompany, bank and other key accounts are reconciled on a timely basis and outstanding issues are investigated and resolved.
6. Supporting other members in the Finance department in meeting their respective objectives by providing appropriate operational support.
7. Ensure participation and completion of any relevant finance specific projects and programs.
8. Supporting other business departments in meeting their respective objectives by providing appropriate finance functional support.
Requirements:
- Results oriented, self-motivated, high level of personal organization with the ability to manage time effectively to achieve the various deadlines.
- Good analytical & communication skills and attention to detail is essential.
- Bachelor of Commerce/Accountancy degree/Accounting related Technical Certificate or close to completion
- 4 years or more work experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, e.g. Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
