The Role: Autonomous Execution

We are seeking a Dual-Skilled Content and Creative Specialist who is first and foremost a dynamic content marketer and prolific writer, but also possesses hands-on design skills (Visual assets).

This highly autonomous, cross-functional role centers on executing Roome's aggressive growth plans by driving user acquisition through content and providing the sales team with market-ready collateral to secure new hotel partners. You will own the end-to-end content lifecycle and all visual asset production for both external acquisition channels (SEO, Blog, Social, EMail) and internal sales efforts.

Key ResponsibilitiesAcquisition & Content Execution (Primary Focus)

  • Content Strategy & Production: Execute the full editorial calendar. Personally write, edit, and publish the core content package for major campaigns.
  • Social Media Ownership: Directly handle scheduling, deployment, and performance reporting for all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.) and initiatives designed to drive traffic and bookings.
  • Email Marketing: Write and manage the copy and content strategy for Transactional and Marketing emails, focusing on maximising open and click-through rates.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and report on key content metrics, including Organic Traffic Growth, Email Open/Click Rates, and Promo Code Redemption Rates, etc.

Creative Execution & Sales Enablement (Secondary Focus)

  • Sales & Partnership Collateral: Own the design and continuous update of all sales and partnership materials, most critically the visual design and content for the Partner Sales Presentation slides used to pitch hotels.
  • Marketing Visual Asset Production: Design and export all final visual assets for integrated marketing materials, including social ads and display banners.
  • Minor UX/UI Support: Provide ad-hoc support to the Product team by implementing minor visual updates and exporting assets from Figma prototypes for developer handoff when needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Content Marketing, Copywriting, and/or Social Media Marketing.
  • Understanding of SEO principles and content distribution across multiple channels.
  • Mandatory hands-on capability in visual design/asset creation using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma or any other similar tools (portfolio submission required).
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and manage campaigns from concept to post-launch analysis.
