Associate Managing Consultant, Marketing Services
Roles and Responsibilities
Client Impact
- Manage deliverable development and multiple workstreams on projects across a range of industries and problem statements
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaigns for large regional and global clients by working with technology and data
- Manage working relationship with client managers, and act as trusted and reliable partner
Team Collaboration & Culture
- Develop sound business recommendations and deliver effective client presentations
- Plan, organize, and structure own work and that of junior project delivery consultants to generate marketing strategies and insights, and prepare presentations
- Lead team and external meetings, and lead or co-lead project management
- Collaborate with internal Mastercard stakeholders including Product and Business Development to build the firm's intellectual capital and solution development
- Grow from coaching to enable ownership of day-to-day project management across client projects, and mentor junior consultants
Qualifications
Basic qualifications
- Undergraduate degree with work experience in marketing and campaign projects focused on one or more of the following fields: marketing content, digital and social media campaigns, digital customer experience, digital marketing, end-to-end product launch, ad-tech and mar-tech ecosystems, offline marketing activities/campaigns, media management and planning, direct response marketing
- Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties
- Experience managing clients or internal stakeholders, and vendors
- Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to perform multiple tasks with multiple clients in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and Cantonese
- Eligibility to work in Hong Kong
Preferred qualifications
- Additional marketing experience in one or more of the following fields: marketing and campaign experience from agency environment, search engine optimization and search engine marketing, video making (e.g., scripting, storyboard, and content), marketing content, usability labs and experience research, print production management
- Global supply chain management (GSM), including sourcing new suppliers and assessing third party production vendors
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience developing and implementing solutions and measuring impact on clients' business
- Experience managing tasks or workstreams in a collaborative team environment with third parties
- Experience coaching junior delivery consultants
- Relevant industry expertise and/or experience in product, sales, or marketing technology
- MBA or master's degree with specialization in marketing or digital (not required)

The appointee will be responsible for organising HKTDC’s sales and marketing programs and activities for promoting the advertising, design and marketing services industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and execute promotional activities for different projects
  • Recruit quality Hong Kong and overseas exhibitors/service providers to join local/overseas events
  • Handle and supervise the logistical issues such as venue setup and information preparation, etc.
  • Recruit quality Hong Kong and overseas visitors to HKTDC design related events
  • Liaise and coordinate with HKTDC mainland and overseas Branch Offices, external parties such as industry institutions, associations and media, etc.
  • Understand the business matching requirement of participants and assist in lining up business matching appointments when necessary
  • Provide on-site support and other administrative support as and when necessary

Requirements:

  • A recognised university degree with 5 years’ working experience, preferably with sizable organisations, in any of the following areas: sales and marketing; exhibition/event organisation or public/corporate relations etc.
  • Mature with superior skills in sales, marketing and communication
  • Self-motivated and outgoing with good project planning ability
  • A strong team player with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Innovative, flexible and be able to deliver under time and resource pressure
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua;
  • Strong inclination and understanding of Hong Kong economy, trade and business arena

Remuneration and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be appointed on a fixed-term contract basis. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

What you’ll be working on:

We are looking for a dynamic Marketing Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in planning and executing marketing campaigns, with expertise in content writing and social media management. Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and executing marketing promotional campaigns to effectively promote our brands in the financial sector.
  • Writing and editing high-quality content for websites and marketing materials, including campaign flow and messaging.
  • Building landing pages and websites to support campaign initiatives.
  • Liaising with various teams, including product, IT, and design, to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Creating and scheduling engaging social media posts across multiple platforms.
  • Analyzing campaign performance and providing insights for optimization.
  • Managing and growing our social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities in the financial industry.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing, content writing, or social media management.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and tools.
  • Proven experience in managing promotional campaigns, particularly in the financial sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative mindset with a focus on results-driven marketing.

Job Description

The BD & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for preparing high-quality pitches and proposals in response to opportunities. Under the leadership of the BD Manager, the incumbent utilizes the firm's global client relationship database to generate customized client lists for marketing and business development efforts. The role involves working closely with internal teams to tailor pitches to specific client needs and objectives.

The role also supports the firm's marketing communications and campaigns across all channels, including conferences, events, sponsorships, printed and digital advertising, and other profile-building opportunities.

Additional responsibilities include supporting projects involving research, data gathering and analysis, directory submissions, matter classification, economic data reporting, intranet content management, and internal meeting coordination.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and event planning, with a Bachelor's degree in law, business, marketing, communications, journalism, or related fields. A minimum of 3 years of work experience in B2B marketing within professional services, preferably law firms, is required. Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential. Candidates will be invited to complete an assessment test to evaluate their writing skills.
