Requirements
- Higher Diploma or above in Science or equivalent
- 2-4 years relevant experience in sales and marketing functions
- Solid experience in medical equipment/supplies or medical industry
- Experience in medical related products would also be considered
- Prior exposure in serving clinic, hospital or nursing home is preferable
- Self-motivated, presentable, energetic with good communication skills
- Well-versed in using MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Good communication of English and fair in spoken Mandarin
- Immediate available is a great advantage
Responsibilities
- Generate sales and marketing functions with clinics, hospitals and nursing homes
- Liaise with existing customers on new products launch and marketing initiatives
- Identify customers' needs & requirements for business development functions
- Maintain close customer relationship and prepare sales related documents
- Perform sales activities such as client visit, market research and ad hoc duties

The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong (CMHHK) stands as a flagship Chinese medicine (CM) institution dedicated to advancing Chinese medicine in Hong Kong and is expected to commence operation in phases at the end of 2025.
Established through a public-private partnership, the hospital is being constructed by the government, with HKBU appointed as the contractor in June 2021 through a tendering process. Subsequently, HKBU registered "HKBU Chinese Medicine Hospital Company Limited" as the operator in accordance with the requirements of the service deed, which is responsible for the management, operation, and maintenance of CMHHK.
A hallmark of CMHHK is its integrated approach, blending Chinese and Western medicine to provide professional patient care. CMHHK will actively engage in various interactions and collaborate with the industry to promote the development of Chinese medicine across Hong Kong, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and international institutions. Biomedical Equipment Technician
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible to the Biomedical Engineer for carrying out acceptance tests, repair and maintenance, quality assurance program, calibration, etc. for biomedical equipment;
- Assist the Biomedical Engineer to support biomedical equipment management in the hospital;
- Provide quality assurance checks, safety checks, and technical assessments on biomedical equipment under the direction of Biomedical Engineer;
- Assist to monitor the performance of medical equipment maintenance contractors, carry out routine on-site inspections of contractors 'maintenance activities and checks of service reports, and check for conformity with the specifications and contract requirements, and report to the supervisor all unsatisfactory work;
- Provide preventive and corrective maintenance services for biomedical equipment;
- Perform on-call duties, attend emergency call, work outside office hours and work irregular hours when required; and
- Perform any other technical duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- A higher certificate or a higher diploma in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field;
- 3 years' relevant post-qualification experience in the equipment maintenance;
- Knowledge and experience in biomedical equipment testing and maintenance;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese;
- Familiar with MS Word, Excel and Access;
- Able to work independently and under pressure; and
- Good communication skill with strong teamwork spirit.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract by Hong Kong Baptist University. Following the commencement of CMH, and subject to the candidate's satisfactory performance and the decision of CMH, subsequent appointment will be offered directly by CMH.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited to attend a written test.
Work location: Kowloon Tong Campus and will be moved to The Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong in Tseung Kwan O when close to commissioning.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
