Our Consumer Goods Division is dedicated to helping brands, retailers and manufacturers worldwide deliver safe, quality and ethically made products to their consumers. Every day at work, our inspectors, auditors, and lab techs use their expertise to help safeguard the products you use every day in your home: from clothes and footwear to toys and baby products, to electronics, appliances, and furniture.

Our operations department's purpose is to deliver our industry-leading services to our clients while ensuring that all the work we do is performed to the QIMA standard of quality

• Implement the management system and ISO 17025;
• Work with Sample Control Team for receiving and returning of tested items;
• Handle preparation work before testing;
• Conduct simple testing after internal training and the supervision of engineer or above;
• Process data to engineer, or above as needed;
• Carry out maintenance and calibration plan of the laboratory;
• Undertake any other duties as assigned.

Purpose of the job:

The Medical Laboratory Technician is a key member of the PHASE Lab responsible for performing a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses on various biological samples. This role needs to ensure accurate and timely results that contribute to molecular diagnosis and treatment.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Collect and process various biological samples such as blood, urine, and tissue for analysis.
• Perform laboratory tests and analyze laboratory data to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of all laboratory procedures and results.
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Assist in the training and supervision of new laboratory staff.

Knowledge & Requirements:

• High diploma in Medical laboratory science, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Studies or related fields
• Holder of Hong Kong Medical Laboratory Technologists Board Part II Registration License or above
• Relevant experience working in medical laboratory is an advantage
• Welcome to fresh graduate with major in Medical Laboratory Science and passion for Molecular Diagnostics
