Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) was founded by the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2000 with the mission of enhancing Hong Kong’s competitiveness through applied research.

ASTRI’s core R&D competence in various areas is grouped under five Technology Divisions: Advanced Electronic Components and Systems; Artificial Intelligence and Trust Technologies; Communications Technologies; IoT Sensing and AI Technologies; and Intelligent Perception and Control Technologies.

It is applied across six core areas which are Smart City, Financial Technologies, New Industrialisation and Intelligent Manufacturing, Digital Health, Application Specific Integrated Circuits and Metaverse.

Over the years, ASTRI has nurtured a pool of research, I&T talents and received numerous international awards for its pioneering innovations as well as outstanding business and community contributions.

As of 2023/24, ASTRI has transferred more than 1,500 technologies to the industry and has been granted over 1,100 patents in the Mainland, the US, and other countries.

To support our constant endeavour to position Hong Kong as a world-class smart city and an international hub of innovation and technology, we are seeking qualified professionals to fill the following position(s):

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-performance wireless communications Digital Signal Processing (DSP) solutions for 5G/6G L1 Physical (PHY) layer
  • Engage in project tasks listed as follows:
  • Develop and maintain test infrastructure software for verifying integrated System/DSP/FPGA
  • Verify the integrated System/DSP/FPGA solution for wireless communication
  • Track and analyze the verification/testing results
  • Optimize and troubleshoot DSP solutions in target platforms to fulfil high performance and real time deadline requirements
  • Build up know-hows on 5G/6G standardization

Job Requirements:

  • Master's or Bachelor's degree holder in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Engineering, Telecommunications or relevant disciplines
  • Experiences in programming language such as C/C++, Assembly, are preferred
  • Experiences in, knowledge of some of below would be a plus
  • Wireless communications systems, such as 3G/4G/5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, ZigBee
  • DSP/embedded system programming and optimization in ARM/X86 platform development
  • Programming language such as Python, C#

The appointment will be on renewable contract terms with a competitive salary and performance-linked variable pay. Fringe benefits include paid leave, medical, insurance coverage and contribution to MPF. The incumbent will normally work a five-day week.

Service Line Overview

We are looking for an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Solution Architect with deep knowledge of the D365 solution across supply supply chain, procurement, manufacturing operations and finance. Exhibits strong understanding of global financial business processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, period-end closing, and compliance with local regulations. Has led finance workstream for a global D365 F&O implementation across multiple countries or regions. Has a minimum of 10 years of demonstrated work experience in ERP technologies with 5+ years in Dynamics 365 F&O.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Solution Architect is responsible for overseeing design, solutioning and implementation of various business solution components, client requirements, as well as support efforts of specialists in other technical and business disciplines.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for financial processes within the D365 F&O environment, driving process standardisation and automation across global operations.
  • Be a champion/SME (Subject Matter Expert) for both technical and functional solutions across the Microsoft platform, driving the adoption of new features and technology.
  • Design and development of domain specific implementations; Influence usage of out of the box Dynamics 365 functionality.
  • Assist in identifying and creatively solving complex customer problems, envisioning and enabling critical processes, and fundamentally helping the customer to achieve their objectives.
  • Participates in identification, pursuit and closure of strategic business development activities whilst continuing to support the existing projects.


Experience & Background

  • Experience working in a Big 4 professional firm or well-established consulting corporation.
  • Apart from the industry experience, must possess deep knowledge of multiple Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Solution areas, specifically in the areas of supply chain, procurement, manufacturing operations and finance.
  • Led the finance workstream for a global D365 F&O implementation across multiple countries or regions.
  • Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated work experience in ERP technologies with 5+ years in Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Extensive experience in leading and managing global D365 F&O implementations, with a focus on financial management modules.
  • Strong understanding of global financial business processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, period-end closing, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Ability to configure and implement financial modules in D365 F&O, including GL, AP, AR, and Fixed Assets.
  • BA/BS in Business, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations certifications.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, leadership and client development skills to effectively present information to stakeholders.
  • Previous track record delivering the full project life cycle.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, detail oriented designer to help take our design system to the next level. As a systems designer, you will empower designers across the organization to build more cohesive, accessible, and high quality experiences for our customers through leading and evolving our multi-platform design system.   6. Strong knowledge of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and Google’s Material Design.
  7. Experience using qualitative or quantitative data to inform and measure the impact of the work.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced, detail oriented designer to help take our design system to the next level. As a systems designer, you will empower designers across the organization to build more cohesive, accessible, and high quality experiences for our customers through leading and evolving our multi-platform design system. You will be responsible for creating a robust and intuitive system of documentation as well as iterating on and creating new components that evolve our visual and interaction patterns across user touch points. You will support the design system through evaluative research, pixel-perfect mockups, high-fidelity prototypes, and thoughtful interaction design.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Own the execution and evolution of the Design System here at OKX by designing, refining, and documenting intuitive and robust components.
  • Partner with cross-functional peers within Product and Engineering to define initiatives and create a world-class and global Design System.
  • Design micro interactions, transitions and animation for product touchpoints.
  • Design icons, components and asset libraries, including documentation.
  • Evangelize systems thinking and drive for consistent, high-quality craft by collaborating with designers throughout the organization.
  • Think in terms of systems, not just one-off solutions, that scale across our entire ecosystem.
