About the Role
We are looking for an Intelligence Analyst to join us in an embedded role for our global financial data and media client. You will be based in the client's Security Operations team, and contributing to international geopolitical and security analysis, risk assessments and advisory services.
You will be responsible for providing tailored tactical and strategic intelligence analysis and consulting to the client as part of a tight-knit team. - Monitor online sources to gather and analyse information that could impact the client's people, assets, operations and reputation, with a particular focus on the APAC region

As a Business Intelligence & Strategy Analyst, you will support the regional Trade Finance and Working capital business by tracking performance metrics, delivering analytical insights, and assisting in the business planning. You will work closely with regional cluster Trade teams – specifically in Greater China and North Asia (GCNA) – and provide performance support to the Cluster Head and the management team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the GCNA regional head in tracking the P&L, trade revenue across markets, and track initiatives and ensuring these are all aligned to the Cluster's overall Trade strategy.
- Coordinate across teams to consolidate and validate data inputs related to product launches, enhancements, and client usage trends.
- Maintain performance dashboards and update revenue scorecards used in regular reviews such as the Monthly Business Reviews (MBR)
- Prepare regular and ad hoc presentation for internal and senior management using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Support strategic projects by extracting insights from data sets across revenue, pipeline, client segments, and product usage.
- Provide performance reporting and business insights to Cluster team in GCNA, supporting their day to day and strategic initiatives.
- Work closely with the Cluster Head in the region by consolidating inputs, preparing review materials, and helping track execution of key deliverables.
- Serve as the single point of contact for data consolidation across GCNA ensuring consistent reporting.
- Track progress of new product initiatives ensuring timely follow up and closures.
- Help define and track key KPIs at product, client, and country level.
- Monitor pipeline activity and align it with metrics and revenue goals.
- Consolidate feedback and inputs from Trade Sales, Client Managers, and Relationship Manager to identify areas of process or data improvement.
Qualifications
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science from a recognised university.
- 1-3 years of experience in banking, financial services, or business analytics/ support role – preferably within Trade Finance or Transaction banking.
- Exposure to client segments such as multinational companies, large local corporates, or SMEs is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and support regional / global projects.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage deliverables under tight timelines.
- Some experience or exposure to project coordination, reporting, or process improvement workstreams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal stakeholders.
- Willingness to learn knowledge in Transaction Banking or Trade Finance.
- Analytical mindset with moderate or advanced understanding of data tools and reporting platforms such a Excel, PowerPoint, or any Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
